I'm going to be honest with you. The Fed is trapped and there is no way out. > CPI just hit 3.3%. Highest since May 2024. > Unemployment rising. > GDP collapsing. > Housing breaking. > Private credit cracking. Cut rates → inflation goes to 5%, 6%, maybe higher. Raise rates → economy goes into full cardiac arrest. There is no third option. And the Strait of Hormuz is still closed. We haven't even felt the full energy shock yet. The Fed that saved markets in 2008, 2020, and 2023? That Fed is gone. This time they will sit on their hands and watch the worst economic crisis in decades unfold in real time. I've never said this before. But right now? The most powerful central bank in the world... Is completely powerless.
