SPY and SPX disagree this morning. SPX: institutions wants to pin 7540. Big positive gamma SPY: -334M put wall at 748. Retail leaning short, accel below 749. Whichever side breaks first wins. Or nobody does and we chop all session.

Dealers are pinning SPY between 750 and 752 today. huge put-wall gamma at 750. Call wall at 752. If 750 holds, it's iron condor weather. If it breaks, the air pocket down to 745 opens up fast.

If you wanted to do an Iron Condor you might consider setting the wings at the range +744/-745 -750/+751. spot is right in the middle right now so r/r is almost 1:1 so it's not bad. there's no best time to get in. earlier is more premium by more uncertainty of how the day will shake out. just remember to close before 3pm. NFA.

SPY 0DTE setup for today (5/22) Pin: 745 Gamma flip: 738 Range: 745–750 Dealers are long gamma into the pin. That dampens moves and rewards mean reversion inside the range. Rule: don't chase the middle. Let 745 or 750 reject first, then fade. Be wary of Friday. Weekly + 0DTE expiries stack, so the pin holds harder into the afternoon, then can snap loose after 3pm. Don't overstay the fade.

@mattesbueno @clayhepler It would be a ‘record’ boundary. Would definitely miss the shifted creek and fence unless you had access to a current image. The area lost due to a moved fence would require them to be paying taxes on it for 7 years. Pretty rare.
