I can get behind the theory of boring prospect physical makeup, tangibles and toolset leading to bias, not names tho

Let's just say I have a theory & people around baseball at the Complex and Dominican Summer leagues tend to confirm the bias I think exists. I love Joshua Baez and his skillset, nothing boring or normal about that. Just the name theory I wanted to point out but that's not the point of the post. I hope that helps

I think Joshua Báez📈 gets dinged for paying the boring/normal name tax He & Konnor Griffin were the only two players to hit 20 homers and steal 50 bases last year in the minors Báez now has 4 homers over his last 9 games and PitchIQ has some interesting profile matches:

You’d be surprised how quickly Fernando Tatis’s power would return if used the “older version” of his wrist strap batting gloves… There’s a fine line between wrist stability and wrist mobility…. MT1 muscles rely on mobility…..MT4/MT5 muscles rely on stability.

On the left, my offer for Michael Wacha. On the right, a counter…for a 24 year old who is one of the higher performing players in the Majors. This is the BS I have to deal with. Don’t be that guy. Your 35yo journeyman, no matter how good he is, will not yield a 24yo star. Whyyy

🚨 Not to go against you here but I’m good on the “better graphics” if all we mean is better lighting/textures/faces. That’s a separate issue from the poor visuals that really have more to do with the sad player silhouettes and ill-fitting equipment… EA will give us player sweat, skin pores, and jersey stitching all day lol… 🤦‍♂️ They have a harder time it seems getting helmets, pads and cleats etc looking right.

@CatholicPacman @NickyDied @EricRayweather MLB the show has amazing and very accurate equipment/player customization in the game yet the number 1 complain is the graphics & texturing & lighting still being awful and they haven’t changed in 8 years. Overall graphics is more immersive than just equipment on players

Scoring just 7 runs in 3 games against a decimated pitching staff who can't stop walking guys is unacceptable. At some point it's no longer early and it's just not a very dangerous offense.
