Here is my family's wish list. Me and my wife Charlene Thank you for taking your time to look at our wishlist. If you can not contribute, I thank you all the same and wish you a happy day. Life is tough and sometimes we just need a hand up. amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls…

I tried to add a gift card to my list but couldn't directly. Followed a reddit thread. I hope it works. Sorry its the first time I'm making and sharing a list. If you want you can share the Amazon gift card details via DM.

@viking_boer Someone convinced me today to post my list. And if people help me I will pass it on to the next person who needs a hand up in life. Someday you might be the one asking for a hand.

Ok, so apparently there is outrage over the South African refugee wishlists from some American people contacting their friends still in South Africa and here saying this is going too far. What do you all think 🤔? Should we rather stop to help others or continue? If you feel we over reached and didn't do it properly in any way please let me know. We'll fix it. We realize that y'all want to help and want to gift and have even told us what to put on rhe list and even said that we must start wishlists. I am a bit confused 😕. Bless everyone who is helping so much and reaching out and loving my people.

Ive had my first night's sleep in my new city Charlotte. Today me and the family are going exploring. Seems like there is a wallmart about 2km or roughly 1,5mi from us. Good walking exercise. Someone needs to shave after 4 days 😳. My Only complaint, the mattress. Yikes.

Still need to get wheels to move around Charlotte so for now I'm perfectly happy using the bus. Now I need to figure out how the bus system works. And I forsee I will need a mattress down the line. Is there a size limit of an item I can move on the bus? Haha mattress?

So me and the wife were at walgreens. The cashier helps us and is very friendly. Eventually she asks my wife where we are from because of her accent. My wife "being a smart ass* says what accent. The cashier says you have a accent. Anyway she thought we were French.

@GGPA20680378 @AffluentJp I'm use to a firm mattress this one has springs that dig into your back and not enough support. Atleats the bedroom has a thick carpet so I seriously considered sleeping on the carpet at least it would be firm

The Afrikaners are exactly the type of people we want to emigrate here because they want desperately to become not only Americans, but also assimilate into being patriotic ones at that. Better yet, they're people who are interested in being part of, not separate from, our culture, and are determined to work hard to earn their way. Seems like a no-brainer, right? You'd think so. But instead, the Dems flooded the US with foreigners who never intended to assimilate, despise the America we love, and are interested in gaming the system. And they do that all while working against our better interests and coordinating with anti-US interests at every turn to willfully undermine our culture, defraud our generosity (and use it against us), and thumb their noses at the rule of law. We can do better, and these good folks are a perfect example of how it's supposed to work.

Not an American citizen (yet), and I’ve never been to the US (yet). But I’m posting this beautiful flag because it gives me a helluva lot of hope… and well, it’s just awesome.

@rec165900 I can not put into words the inner struggle this exact topic has brought me. But I like the way you phrase it, hand up not hand out. I can see myself giving help but not accepting it. This message of yours has left a lump in my throat. Why are people so nice here.

I'm retired now (I worked one job or another from age 14 to 55.) and everything I am or have I owe to others who reached behind them throughout my life and gave ME a hand up. Not a handout. I know you haven't asked us, but if you would consider creating an Amazon Gift Registry, those of us who can give you a hand up might be able to help make some of the things you need to get re-established again appear at your new home and let you save your cash for big ticket expenses like a car or truck. We want you to prosper and take solid roots and all we ask is when you are ready to, pass it forward and give a hand up to someone else. (I already know you are that kind of people, without you saying anything.) Just think about it. God Bless and keep you and yours. 🙏🫡

@breytenzes Absolutely! You can also watch mattress unwrapping videos they are hysterical. They compress all of the air out of the mattress and wrap it up and put it in a box and then you unwrap it and poof!

@BeaWella2 Yes I have seen some of those videos on YouTube where the mass off a small star expands to normal size in an instant with so much energy that it hurls the person clear across the room. Nighmare fuel 😳 and then you sleep peacefully

Ok I knew coming here would have some level of culture shock, but oh man. I am use to pushing the light switch down to turn on the light, not up. Why is the toilet handle on the left of the toilet? I do like the numberplates of the cars how they encapsulate the spirit of their respective state

@MaxPatricius @breytenzes You have to watch out for bedbugs in the south. I’m sorry, but I wouldn’t take somebody else’s bed, not without looking very closely at it.

@breytenzes @west_ultra_maga Most common way here. Get on Amazon to take a look. And be sure to set aside some time for deciding and creating your Amazon Wishlist. You’ll have your new mattress-in-a-box in quick time. 🙂 Happy Friday! Welcome to America to you and family 🇺🇸

@breytenzes If you have the money you can always rent a U-Haul truck for the day. I would plan it out accordingly if I wanted to do that for many stops.
