The answer: There are basically two ways of measuring the boundaries of a city:
1) A commuting zone
2) A built-up area
Tokyo is the biggest by the first measure, because great transit --> long commutes.
Jakarta is the biggest by the second measure, because of high-density sprawl.

@Bircheve Of course, there's the risk that people will use it wrong. For creativity that means being pulled towards the median. For 50% of people, that's an absolute win. For the other 50% we have to hope they look at the outputs and say "I can do better" to keep us moving forward

@Bircheve And having AI tools has made it even easier if people reach for them and use them right. Sometimes to answer questions, sometimes to guide you to answers, never to tell you how to think. Building tools for testing ideas and finding papers have been my favorite use cases.
