Too many Australians are skipping specialist appointments because they can’t afford gap fees. That’s unacceptable in a country with a universal healthcare system. Healthcare should be based on need, not bank balance. We need transparency on costs, fairer Medicare rebates, and reforms that put patients first—not profits.
