@IsraelMFA @Beaf333 This is outrageous. Every week they get more and more violent. These vile antisemitic incitements are increasing in frequency and level of hatred and too many in positions of power, police and Gov, are cowering on the sidelines.

A hanged Jew effigy paraded in the streets of Montreal. Let us call this what it is: antisemitism. When violent imagery targeting Jews is displayed openly in the streets, something is deeply broken. These are the kinds of warning signs societies ignore at their peril. What begins with the dehumanization of Jews never ends with the Jews. Canadian authorities must act decisively before this hatred escalates further. jns.org/news/world/han…

Yesterday, I informed Premier Ford of my decision to resign from Cabinet and from my seat in the Ontario Legislature, effective June 5. To Premier Ford, to the people of York-Simcoe, to Ontario’s Francophone community, to the York-Simcoe PC riding association, to my Caucus and Cabinet colleagues, to my constituency and ministerial teams, to the Ontario Public Service and my family – thank you.

It’s now confirmed that 394 undocumented men were brought in by UK border force yesterday. That’s nearly 2,000 more for May. Many will go on to commit crimes and rape of British women and children.

@bruce_arthur Weird trauma? Trauma is experienced differently by each individual. It is never weird. You take a very serious condition and demean it to score political points.

RCMP Members and Veterans were intentionally tricked into critical and humiliating interviews for a taxpayer-funded CBC/APTN production. We are calling for an immediate halt and a full inquiry into how this was approved, funded, and executed. Read our full release: npf-fpn.com/news-item/rcmp…

A strong Canada that prioritizes hard power over rhetoric benefits us all. Unfortunately, Canada has failed to make credible progress on its defense commitments. DoW is pausing the Permanent Joint Board on Defense to reassess how this forum benefits shared North American defense. 1/3

Using false pretenses to lure retired RCMP officers into forced struggle sessions is beyond the pale. Time for @MarcMillerVM to announce he's investigating, and ensuring any federal funding is being recovered, +any CBC personnel who approved this are being held accountable.

Not food-related post. This is likely one of the most sickening things I’ve seen the CBC do. Read the story below. ⬇️ One of the RCMP officers pranked by the CBC is a personal friend. I can’t believe a Crown corporation, funded by the Canadian public, would do something like this to people who served our country for decades, only to humiliate them.
Lindsay Shepherd@NewWorldHominin

The CBC "prank show" deception scandal is getting so much worse. The producers (operating under fake identities/fake company names with fake websites) told a number of RCMP veterans - people who dedicated their lives to serving on the frontlines - that they were invited to film for a show called "Life After Service." A ceremony to thank them for their service would follow, and they were told dignitaries would be present. This would take place at the CBC Vancouver studio. They were told to come in uniform. When the RCMP vets arrived at the CBC Vancouver studio on March 25th and 26th, the "pranksters" took their phones away, which they claimed was CBC Vancouver studio policy. The former RCMP officers were also placed in front of an audience of what they were told were about two dozen "journalists." And it was sprung on them that this was a "live broadcast", with "media availability" afterwards! Then the producers switched up the whole session to be not about life after service, but the historical wrongs committed by the RCMP against indigenous peoples - to berate these vets for being part of the RCMP. There is so much more but I am hoping the individuals targeted in this elaborate scheme will be able to share their stories themselves. Seriously, what even sounds remotely funny or silly about this concept? It is just sick and cruel @CBCNews and @APTNNews... what are you thinking?

“I tried to thank him… That’s my whole world. That’s my daughter.” New Ring doorbell video shows the dramatic moment a Chattanooga police officer rushed into a burning apartment to save a mother and her two children. Rachel Blaylock can be heard screaming “There’s a fire!” as flames spread. She says Officer Eli Rogers didn’t hesitate — and she’s not sure her family would have survived without him.

15 days ago, Rocky came in as close to death as is possible for a dog to be. It has been a battle to get him back into shape but I think you will agree that he is looking fantastic. People often ask me how you put up with the cruelty when you deal with dogs and it's a very good question. The answer actually comes from dogs themselves. You have to take it one day at a time. What has happened in the past is the past. All we can do, just like dogs, is enjoy the moment and the day that we have. Today was a gorgeous sunny Sunday and myself and Rocky had smoked salmon. He followed me for a proper walk down Hope Avenue. He had lots of belly rubs and he was as gentle and kind as a dog could be. Sometimes you just have to forget about what's happened in the past and not look too far into the future. We're all very guilty of it but Rocky has taught me to enjoy the moment, the present. He’s a very good boy is our Rocky ❤️

Alberta’s Legislature joined a growing call from across Canada to ensure the extraordinary bravery of our veterans receives the recognition it deserves. As Shadow Minister for Veterans Affairs, I’m proud to see my home province of Alberta stand alongside Saskatchewan, Nova Scotia, Ontario, the Senate, the House of Commons Veterans Affairs Committee, and veterans from coast to coast in supporting the establishment of a Military Honours Review Board. The courage and sacrifice shown by Canadian service members — including those who served in Afghanistan — must never be forgotten or overlooked. The time to act is now. We will continue pressing the Liberal government to do the right thing and ensure true Canadian heroes like Jess Larochelle and others have a fair and transparent path to receiving the Victoria Cross.
