Thune is refusing to commit to bringing the SAVE America Act back to the floor anytime soon after they finish budget and FISA work later this week. His exact words: “If we don’t have other pressing stuff in front of us that has to get done...then we’ll see about getting that going.” The SAVE America Act — the House-passed bill that requires proof of citizenship to register to vote and photo ID at the polls — is sitting in limbo while Republicans control the Senate, the House, and the White House. This is the same bill that would stop non-citizens from voting in federal elections and restore basic safeguards the American people have demanded for years. Yet Thune is openly signaling it might get kicked down the road again because there could always be “other pressing stuff.” Republicans ran on securing elections. President Trump has made it a top priority. The House already passed the bill. The American people voted for real change, not more excuses and delays from Senate leadership. We’ve seen this movie before. Time and time again, Senate Republicans talk tough about election integrity until it’s time to actually deliver — then suddenly there are other priorities, procedural hurdles, or “we don’t have the votes” excuses. The SAVE America Act isn’t some extreme measure. It’s common-sense voter eligibility rules that the vast majority of Americans support. @elonmusk Illinois resident here. There is no question about the fraud. Bigger issue is probably elections. Now that the lid is blew off, they are actively covering up. Feds need to be here now. Hopefully they have been for months.

The fraud in California, New York and Illinois is far greater than in Minnesota. My guess for how much fraud is happening nationwide is roughly 10% of the Federal budget, so about $700 billion per year.
