@briteeth Listen, I was a teacher for years and when Muslim children would disclose they were beaten at mosques, social services did nothing as they didn’t want to create religious tensions. I’d assume it was a similar scenario. I was a 15 year old child. I didn’t investigate then.

Really? Why wasn’t anyone investigating them and their parents after that?

Honestly, as someone who has traveled a lot, India is the best country I have ever traveled to. It’s incredible. I will have been here for 9 days when I leave, and there is still so much to see and do. My experience has been amazing and India is portrayed negatively in the media as a place Amercians should avoid, but I realize a lot of that is completely made up. The people, food, culture and hospitality culture are just incredible. I have felt safe and comfortable the entire time I have been here and India will truly be the next big super power. This country has incredible potential and you have to see it yourself to understand because the media only makes it out to be 3rd world. That couldn’t be further from the truth. Indian people are the nicest people I have ever met. I am very grateful for my time in India. I have enjoyed it so much and I hope I can come back every year. Next time I want to visit South India. I have tried to do as much as possible these last 9 days but there is still so much to see and do. All good things come to an end. I’ll be back (hopefully soon). I love India. My misconceptions have been corrected. I have nothing but nice things to say. 🇮🇳

My grandfather was forced to sell his property under distress in East Pakistan by his Muslim neighbour. When the neighbour failed to convince my Dadu to sell the house, all he did was cut open a pregnant cow, took the still born calf out, still inside the sac, and threw it in front of the main door. Dadu used to wake up and do Surya Namaskar every day. That morning when he went out, he saw the still born blue calf. Immediately he realised it's time to move. He left. I hope @AdityaDharFilms tells our story someday. He has already entered East Pakistan with the character of Brigadier Jahangir.

Do you know which communities are the most persecuted across the world? 1. Kashmiri Pandits 2. Tamil Brahmins 3. Jews But they are still known as some of the most successful communities in the world.

That’s probably why a large number of us are in other Indian states or in other countries. The Dravidian parties have done that to us. My father left his ancestral lands and went to Karnataka. I left India and went to the U.K. 2/2

Hi Fellow Tamil Brahmin-Iyer here. I wouldn’t use persecution in the sense of what has happened to Pandits and Jews although it may have happened centuries ago during various periods of Muslim and Christian rule, but we have not been allowed to thrive in Tamil Nadu 1/
