Hull are back in the Premier League ⚽️🟠⚫️ Genuine question. What actually changes for Hull now? Everyone talks about the club getting richer but does the city itself actually feel the benefit? More visitors, more spending, more jobs? Or does life mostly carry on as normal? #hcafc

Unemployment benefits should be time limited and conditional. “ Looking for work” cannot be sufficient if they’ve been “looking” for many years. Work may need to be assigned to them once they exceed a year of unemployment. Any work that would be useful to their communities. 2/2

£0 isn’t practicable. The disabled ( real ) would need support. Those facing life-threatening health conditions and unable to work would need support. But it is meant to be a safety net and not an alternative lifestyle. It should be limited to the provision of such relief 1/

One instance yesterday: Guy in an England shirt was trying to vape in the ward. Nurse asked him to go outside England shirt man "fuck off, it's not your job...why don't you go back to where you came from, we don't want you lot here."

The Farage and Tommy Robinson effect in practice: The NHS staff at my local hospital are all amazing, kind, professional, compassionate and with the patience of a saint. Many are immigrants or of a BAME background. The overt racism from several patients was absolutely shocking. Not just one incident but over the course of 3 days I witnessed 6 separate, hideous racist comments or abuse being hurled with a vitriol unseen in decades. These twats are emboldened by Farage, Reform, Musk, Lowe, Tiny Tommy Ten Names and a media which gives their hideous views a platform.

Saving VAT on theme park visits is a very bitter pill to swallow for parents of SEND children at independent school, many of whom struggle to find the extra hundreds of pounds to pay the World’s only non-subsidised education tax.

Filter Coffee and butter milk constitutes main part of their food.* *Rasam, Rice, Sambhar, and one curry is their usual meal. Around 40% of them are diabetic in general, but their sugar elevations are generally marginal only and not too high.* *In the morning they take two dosas in general. In the afternoon little meal and in the night say around 8pm another meal. By 4 pm one filter coffee and by 6am another filter coffee.* *Daily walk for minimum half an hour. Else oil consumption on daily basis is very minimal.* *Sandwich/pizza/pasta/other forms of fast foods are all out of their menu. If they consume one of these once in a year, that can be considered a party day!!* *Major reason for the less stress atmosphere, is their spiritual inclination and ‘let go’ attitude when they face shortfalls/failures. They generally leave success and failures to God.In general they live a destitute life in Tamil Nadu where the Dravidian politics is hell bent to drive them out as did Kashmir to their Pandit counter parts*.* *But their non-confrontational attitude helps them pull on. However, they are well off in other states/abroad. Maharashtra, Gujrat, Delhi, Karnataka are the places where they get due recognition for their service and integrity to their employers.* *Their low masala/low salt/low spice food generally fails to trigger extreme anger/daily fights etc and sometimes you may find them failing to get angry even where they are supposed to.
