@AlexLacl No downforce in fast corners yet it performed the best on tracks with most fast corners.. Merc had the problem of too much downforce at high speeds..

W14 was such a bad car. No improvements from 2022. Small window, no downforce on fast corners, instabilty on slow corners. All these problems forced LH to change his style. Merc peak was barely than the AM and mclaren peaks of performance and Ferrari was superior almost all year

Will never forget one of the most HUMILIATING team radios between teammates ever. Lando managed to outpace Piastri for multiple laps on dead tyres after piastri pitted at a track where the undercut is absolutely massive. One day McLaren will realize who the number 1 driver is 👍

@ln1nited F1 has always neem equally about the driver and teams.. If you force drivers to give up their position to a faster teammate it stops being about the driver.. If you are faster then prove you can overtake, current regs are much easier for overtaking than past 10 years

@landovsynk After PIA has been held up by traffic for over half a lap.. Look it up the lap before the SAI crash was 1.5s slower than the lap before because of lapped cars that didnt make space..

All i did say was that PIA was faster till the SAI shit - or rather till he hit the traffic around SAI which cost him in total 2.5s within 2 laps.. The OP referred to after PIA pitted. Piastri was only 0.2s faster than Norris per lap on much fresher tyres. With a sufficient tyre delta, Norris catches and passes Piastri easily.

PIA had made up 1.4s since the end of the lap he pitted (warming his tyres + passing traffic) and ran into traffic in lap 37 with 19.7s behind Norris.. being held up massively, having to go off line to pass.. losing 1.4s alone in that lap.. then came sainz

Was Norris the faster driver this weekend? Clearly.. Was PIA reducing the gap to Norris after pitting before SAI went nuts? Minimally but yes

@bro_crying @formularacers_ He was going to, but McLaren pit OP instead (because Lando was asking to pit). And then McLaren should have left Lando out, because he could have built a gap even with the older tires, but they brought in LN, too, gave him a slower stop, and preserved OP's lead for him.

Verstappen has so many goons on track it’s insane. Lawson giving him the slipstream is the only reason this even happened.
