LSU wasn’t named after the animal "Tigers." They are actually named after the “Louisiana Tigers”, a particularly brutal brigade of rebel soldiers in the Civil War who also slaughtered hundreds of freed black men in the New Orleans Massacre 1866.

You're playing a shell game here. Civil Rights Law was passed in 1964 and ever since then it's been illegal to have an exclusively white company. Then you use that lack of an all-white company as proof that white men lack talent. It's viciously subversive.

@soIoucity Using that logic, any pre-integration Negro League player can be discarded because they couldn't play against 90% of the American population

A lot of prolonged singleness is just an inefficient market. In market terms, people anchor to a valuation of themselves that the market doesn’t currently validate, so no trades occur. “Incel” and “femcel” are mostly just social terms for an enormous bid/ask spread.

If you're going to argue we can restrict Second Amendment rights because urban communities can't handle having guns in the way "rural Vermont" can, then why wouldn't it also follow we can't do the same with every right? Warrantless searches wouldn't reduce much crime in most rural areas, but they'd do a lot in cities! Literacy is dismal in Chicago. Why are we letting its residents vote without a literacy test? And so on. Rights are universal. If your area isn't mature enough to handle that liberty, then the response should be fixing your community's failings, not attacking the liberty. This isn't a new problem. John Adams wrote that "We have no Government armed with Power capable of contending with human Passions unbridled by morality and Religion. Avarice, Ambition, Revenge or Gallantry, would break the strongest Cords of our Constitution as a Whale goes through a Net. Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other."

AOC says guns have different outcomes in Vermont than in Brownsville. Does she realize what she's implying?

@HomericWigger @saveusculture They’ve studied people’s claimed ancestry and compared it to their actual ancestry. Consistently, people are more Anglo and less German than they actually believe

@saveusculture Source - your ass. If some self identified as German, they likely are. Despite the silly posts circulating on this site, services like 23andme and ancestry are not particularly accurate. And if you can't trust self reported ethnicity, you really can't do anything meaningful

@razibkhan @WestsideLAGuy Whether looksmaxxing is higher ROI for homos is a non-sequitur. Looksmaxxing is a market correction for what females actually increasingly reward. Females are starting to prioritize looks more and more for sexual encounters

@WestsideLAGuy yes, but they really don't prioritize looks the same way that men do. looksmaxxing is much better ROI if you are homosexual

Women do not explicitly state their true preferences publicly. Kayleigh is married to a good looking 6’2” former MLB player. Conservative women are especially bad at this as they use their ideology to promote “virtuous” men but that’s not what they’re actually attracted to.

In all sincerity, the fact that this nonsense is being spouted by "the best" of Trump's three Supreme Court nominees is indicative of the broad intellectual failure of the conservative legal movement. How is this "originalist" with respect to an analysis of who the original American people were? How is it an "originalist" reading of the early Congressional debates around The Naturalization Act of 1790? How is it "textualist" with respect to what the founders actually wrote about "ourselves and our posterity?" This is nothing more than rootless liberalism with the thinnest of conservative veneers. I am a raging moderate about these issues. I do not think America is "just" an ethnicity or a natural origin. We can (and have) made good Americans who arrived from many different nations. But obviously, it's not "just" an ideology or creed either-- or we'd be mass deporting the tens of millions of Americans who utterly reject the founders' creed. For politicians, I don't always expect better. But for Supreme Court Justices, who should be intellectual leaders of the movement, this sort of claptrap is just embarrassing.
