Its the nuance. Its okay as Pakistanis to hate the Israelis and Iran. They're both assholes, both harmed Pakistan. Ideal situation is Iran fucks Israel, and then falls into disarray. Iran has NEVER been a friend to Pakistan. Fuck em both

This may be one of the most misinformed takes circulating online right now. In any ceasefire or de-escalation agreement, especially one involving multiple stakeholders, there is a well established diplomatic process to ensure absolute clarity and prevent misinterpretation. Typically, a Joint Statement (if issued) is carefully negotiated, worded, and mutually approved by all participating parties, along with the agreed-upon statements of each country, tailored to its domestic audience while remaining consistent with the agreed framework. This title 'Draft: Pakistan's PM message on X," shows coordinated communications. Three separate drafts were prepared: one for the United States, one for Iran and one for Pakistan within the bounds of diplomatic protocol. Once approved by all relevant parties, it was posted. Suggesting otherwise ignores how international diplomacy actually functions and only creates unnecessary confusion about a non-issue. Anyone more concerned about spelling or edits than about the lives of thousands which have been saved and the death and destruction that would be stopped, even if temporarily, is a non-serious person
Ryan Grim@ryangrim

Oh, this is unbelievable. The edit history on this tweet shows that Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif originally copied and pasted everything he was sent, including: "*Draft - Pakistan's PM Message on X*" Now, obviously, Sharif's own staff don't call him "Pakistan's PM," they would just call him prime minister. The U.S. and Israel, of course, would call him "Pakistan's PM." Would be funny if the fate of the world wasn't hanging in the balance.

Why do westerners think all their problems are due to immigrants, y’all literally created an entire island just to r**pe women and children, i didn’t see immigrants in those files Also maybe if you stopped bombing or helping the countries that are destroying other people’s countries like you’re doing right now in Iran and libnan, they would not leave their homes in the first place

@ayeshaijazkhan @fuckzionistsss But you know that that the USA and Israel are untrustworthy and this ceasefire is just to give Trump a reprieve. It’s a huge mistake by Iran and Pakistan being involved is an embarrassment to most decent Pakistanis that I know.

Hello Lola, I am a Muslim, and our spiritual tradition has a very deep approach to raising children. I want to share some tips from our scholars that will be beneficial to you regardless of your faith. First of all, our theology teaches the concept of Fitrah. This means that every child is born with a pure heart. At six years old, she is not a criminal mastermind. She does not have a wicked soul. If she doesn’t have all these, then what is happening? The truth is that she is just lacking impulse control and testing boundaries. By this, if you look at her as a manipulator, you will fight her. However, if you look at her as a pure soul making mistakes, you will be able to guide her. Secondly, for every problem anyone faces today, it has been solved in history. The only problem is how to locate them. A classical scholar named Al-Ghazali wrote about child psychology over 900 years ago in his famous book “Ihya Ulum al-Din.” In his section on disciplining children, he gave a practical rule I want you to adopt going forward. He advised that parents should never push a child into a corner where they are forced to lie. When you ask a question you already know the answer to, her survival instinct kicks in. She cries and she lies to defend herself because she is scared of you. Stop interrogating her. Just look at her and state the fact. Say, I know you took this, and we are going to return it right now. Again, another scholar and sociologist Ibn Khaldun addressed this exact behavior in his masterpiece titled: “Al-Muqaddimah.” He warned that when a child is raised with harsh punishment, they learn deceit, trickery, and lying to protect themselves. This is why she is covering her tracks and crying to manipulate you. The fear of a harsh reaction is making her a better liar. Lola, do not attach a label to her. Do not ever call her a thief. If you attack her identity instead of her action, she will internalize it and grow into that dark label. Tell her the action is wrong but protect her dignity. Make her return the item. Do not fall for the tears. Hold her hand, walk her back to wherever she took it from, and make her hand it back and apologize. The discomfort of returning a stolen item teaches a much better lesson than beating her will ever do. Finally, I don’t know if you are a Muslim, but never underestimate the power of your own words. In our faith, we believe the prayer of a parent for a child goes straight to God without any barrier. Pray over her. Pray for her heart to be content and for her character to be straight. Keep doing this consistently and the habit will break. Allah knows best.
Lola💎@ComfortLolaa

How do I stop a child from stealing? She’s just 6 years old, but she steals like an expert, covers her tracks perfectly, and denies it with teary eyes so much that you start to feel bad for her and even second-guess yourself as an adult.

Saudi Arabia showed a lot of patience and restraint, even when their civilian infrastructure was targeted by certain rogue elements who didn't want talks to progress. Not a fan of KSA, but credit where it's due.

Reposting this. Pakistan's position in this conflict is the product of a rare and unrepeatable combination: a Muslim-majority nuclear state with a Shia minority large enough to give Iran cultural stakes, a Sunni majority large enough to give the Gulf states political comfort, a border with Iran, a defence pact with Saudi Arabia, a strategic partnership with China that Tehran values, a warming with Washington that Tehran cannot afford to antagonise, no American military bases on its soil, a military that proved itself in live combat less than a year ago, a competent political leadership and a foreign minister who has grown into the moment, and a diplomatic tradition of studied neutrality that every party in this conflict has at various points relied upon.

The war was between the United States and Iran. Both the United States and Iran acknowledged Pakistan's efforts to stop the war. That's the first-hand and most credible source. The rest is just noise and petty nitpicking from butthurt Afghans and Indians obsessed with Pakistan.
Habib Khan@HabibKhanT

China brokered the ceasefire deal and pushed Iran, as Trump confirmed to AFP, while Pakistan merely acted as a channel. Pakistan isn’t the peacemaker it now claims to be and, as always, is taking credit for something it didn’t deliver.

I hope Iran's leaders will finally realise what human decency looks like, let alone friendship. Iran always sided with India against Pakistan, and considered it its friend. But it was Pakistan that stopped the war, while Indians ignored guest Iranian sailors drowning next door.

You're right foreign relations are complicated but that holds true for us too. I don't remember Pakistan hosting US funded militias that offload people from buses in Iran and sh00t them the way Indian backed BLA which operates from Iran and Afghanistan does. "Complications" have limits and shouldn't apply to one state only. And the moment you pull a trigger and k!ll an innocent, it stops being "complicated" and starts being rivalry, if not plain wrong.
