@bryan_25252 @tamonowo @envinyon The solution here is making the mounts require 50 pulls maximum, which they are actually doing. Also add new optional rewards to compensate for this. A minion of the boss, unique emote, nameplate, etc. Extreme rewards are handled very poorly and should be criticized more.

@coolynyc @tamonowo @envinyon After reading the post, I'm inclined to agree but instead of buffing Extremes, they should add another type of content that can bridge the gap and let people farm EXs for the mount without artificially increasing the difficulty with more HP. EX farm is already a chore 😭

@feraltsuki @yonagunixx Agreed on this take. When I was new to the game I always hated being dead-weight and always looked to improve and looking at logs helped so much in that essence. I really don't understand the people who can expect to improve without taking the time to analyze their own gameplay

@yonagunixx And that's how parsing should be used. I always say people expect high damage from others but forget their own journey in getting there. People who are new and not new need help and shown the way, will make for healthier PF experience imo. Always room for improvement.

FFXIV had 2 pet jobs (Summoner and Scholar). Both basically had the pet aspect redacted because the games still terrible spaghetti code meant they couldnt function properly on higher tier fights.

@FelipeMartinnes @aitaikimochi 95% of the game is casual and midcore content, even savage is a midcore content, the only real hardcore content in the entire game are Ultimates and the last one was released more than a year ago.

@aitaikimochi I hope that the ultimate raid is releasing later than expected then, because if it's like usual this will mean they're announcing the release date like 2 weeks before it, which is not enough time for thr average person to get PTO approved

@roegamaniac Dipping in and out of raids on my own time, casually capping out m10s for vault and doing preys/t11s really makes you understand how outdated 14's gearing system😭. I spend maybe 12-15 hours weekly and I'm currently 272. WoW really respects your time and sadly SE can learn a lot.

WoW Midnight is really good for solo players.
FFXIV should take notes, because right now, its decent but can be much more! like completing Delve T11 giving you Hero/mythic gear is so rewarding.
Imagine if V&C dropped Savage Ilvl gear for clearing solo Advance/Criterion versions.

@Overlord_Manga @Evie0nline i love 14 and i have faith 8.0 will be good (copium). raid design as you said has been great but it feels like playing the game is actively playing against you as a raider. playing casually, 14 is still a fantastic game and storytelling (albeit fell short in dt) is great.

SE couldn't even do the bare minimum and make a new reward for players and instead recycled the Endwalker criterion reward. don't get me wrong, the weapons are pretty, but come on? its so lazy lol

This doesn't include weapons or a 2nd ring once original gets augmented. Crazy!

@Suzushiiro @ArtharsFF14 i mean... secret phases have always been in WoW, so it is always incredibly hype and very refreshing to see, whereas in ultimates in FFXIV, you EXPECT it to happen so it is not as hype.
