Bonds are paying 5% What’s stopping you from investing $1million and living off $500k/yr?

I’d rather have $1 million invested in $VOO Than a $1 million paid off house… I’ll sleep knowing my portfolio will grow and compound at a faster rate than my house, pay me true passive income from dividends with dividend growth, and I’m guaranteed to be financially secure long-term… Do you agree?

Not everyone can pay for their kid’s college, that’s obvious. But the ones who can and choose not to, while pretending it’s moral high ground, are lying to themselves. Paying for your children’s university education is a parental responsibility.

I’ve never understood why people care so much about where others choose to live. It has no impact on me where anyone wants to raise their family and I don’t spend any time thinking about it.

@realEstateTrent Just imagine how much money you would save by not living in NYC. Seems like you could run your biz from anywhere and you have properties on the west coast. Check out Nashville or anywhere near there. You could save $100,000’s per year

Doing a cash-out refi on my primary home. Appraiser just asked me what value I need the house to be at for the deal to get done. Is that normal these days?

Can someone explain to me why 20 year olds would rather light their hard earned money on fire picking dog shit stocks instead of just investing in the S&P 500 and building wealth?

Really hoping John Ternus’ first move as CEO of Apple is to acquire Wispr Flow so I never have to press this button again.

Am I wrong for thinking you shouldn’t touch individual stocks until you’ve got $100K in index funds like the S&P 500?

@nickgraynews I believe when you buy a house, you can ask the title company to keep information private.

I'm thinking about buying a house Should I do it in a trust so that it is harder for people to find my home address?

@realEstateTrent That’s one solution. Or, with the extra time, they could add on services or add more clients. The latter sounds harder; but if their competition is charging less, your friend might lose business. Both options would work for some and not for others!

Spoke to a friend whose company has always charged clients based on the hour. Now that AI is allowing his company to complete tasks much faster, it means they’d make less money. So what did they decide to do? Switched from billing based on time to billing based on a “package”

Used Claude Design and Opus 4.7 to design a personal dashboard. With Personal AI becoming more accessible in 2026, I always envisaged that one day we could have our own personal OS as well. Here's what I came up with!

Reminds me of my all time favorite marketing headline: “Tova Borgnine Swears Under Oath That Her New Perfume Does Not Contain an Illegal Sexual Stimulant,” with the subhead: “Wife of famous movie star agrees to give away 10,000 samples of her new fragrance just to prove it’s safe to wear in public.”

We offered $5,000 to whichever employee got the most engagement on LinkedIn in a single quarter. $2,500 for second. $1,500 for third. Plus $500 for anyone who published 20+ times. The result: 24 employees published 581 posts in 85 days. 43,000+ reactions. 28,000+ comments. 34,000+ new followers. 27 new clients signed. $153,000 in new MRR. I remember one guy from our team had less than 1,000 followers when the competition started. Today? 10,000+ followers. The total prize pool cost us about $15K. The return was $153K per month. Every month. Recurring. People need a reason to do things that aren't in their job description. Cash works.
