Capitalism was kept in check by the Soviet Union till the 1990s.
So many nice policies that western governments in Europe and US implemented were out of fear of communism, fear that people may revolt. Once that threat was gone, the politicians started favoring corporates more and more. Ever since then, capitalism has slowly become completely unhinged because of zero competition.
The world needs a strong pushback against these monopolist corporate powers.

“Conversion therapy” is semantically piggybacking on the public’s perception of electrocuting the gay away. In reality it simply means allowing therapists to challenge if only to validate gender or sexual orientations in children. The law said it was illegal for a therapist to question a little girl who has experienced serious trauma or has other serious mental diagnoses if her desire to be a boy is real or a way to escape from the trauma. Even if the therapist’s determination is she is indeed trans. The conversation is what people like “Polling USA” are calling soulless.

I don't think people understand the gravity of the situation as the UN is preparing for possible nuclear weapon use in Iran.
This is a picture of Tehran. For you uneducated, untraveled, never-served, warhawks licking your chops at the thought of bombing it. It's not some low population desert. There are families, children, family pets. Regular working class people with dreams. You're sick to want war.
Tehran is a city of nearly 10,000,000 people. Imagine nuking Washington, Berlin, Paris, London, or beyond, bombed with nuclear weapons.
I gave up my diplomatic career to leak this information. I suspended my duties so as not to be part of or a witness to this crime against humanity, in an attempt to prevent a nuclear winter before it is too late.
