@CFCCath Italy the same. People simply won’t pay big money for a coffee. This is the price list in a cafe at the top of a mountain in a ski resort.

Wonder how much profits these coffee conglomerates in UK are making charging £4 for a coffee as they don’t appear to pay tax … here in Paris eur 1.50 for a coffee and eur 2.50 for a chocolate and noisette eclair which was delicious .. #ripoffbritain

@whitewall618431 If memory serves we never wore those yellow shirts with those blue shorts in any league or cup games. Was always yellow shorts.

Chelsea pre season Finland 1982. Photo with Chelsea players in yellow Phil Driver, Paul Canoville, David Speedie, Gary Locke. One of Chelsea's best ever shirts I remember wearing it a couple of weeks later at Cambridge.

@lilyslynch @JEyal_RUSI Stick me in pedant’s corner if you like, but Ceausescu didn’t rush back. It was a three-day trip that ended as planned on December 20.

Khamenei was the last leader Nicolae Ceaușescu met. In Dec 1989, the Romanian leader was visiting Iran when protests erupted in Romania. He rushed back to Bucharest to stage a rally, but the crowd turned on him on live TV. Ceaușescu and his wife were executed a few days later, on Christmas Day.

Greens now have a whopping 5 MPs. Reform have 8. Tories have 116. Labour only have 404. That's such a weak position to be in.

@DPJHodges Why does he need to 'fight' for change when he has a massive majority and could simply enact it? It's this total lack of ambition that has put his 2024 supporters off.

Our country is badly in need of change. And we need change that puts our entire political system back in the service of ordinary people. There’s a lot to do, and we are all behind @Keir_Starmer to deliver the change we promised.

@DavidLammy Winning a massive mandate is no achievement. Using that mandate to enact real change is. The government of which you are a part has done nothing, primarily because the PM is timid, lacking in ambition.

Keir Starmer won a massive mandate 18 months ago, for five years to deliver on Labour’s manifesto that we all stood on. We should let nothing distract us from our mission to change Britain and we support the Prime Minister in doing that.

If Keir Starmer resigns, the UK can forget closer ties to the EU anytime soon. He's slowly aligning Britain to the EU, and away from the US, it's a process that needs stability. Changing PM's would put that in jeopardy. He's doing a great job with the situation he is in.

@sankuperis This is hugely important just after a baby is born. The baby gets brought gift after gift while mum usually gets nothing. Bring presents for mum too!

Buy a bouquet, SPA treatment, anything nice to make mums feel appreciated. It’s a hard work and kudos to every single one of them. Many of them grow toxic to their kids out of the stress and anxiety this society pushes

For my bf son’s school dances, I bought a bouquet for the kid’s mum. I think mums don’t get rewarded enough & I encourage everyone to praise mums in their circles. It can’t be easy to be one and many young women grew up watching their mums get nothing but more pressure in return
