@MikeFrancoAR501 @JosieMarcellino I guess we’ll wait for the details of the case to fully emerge. If chuds statements prove true, and that he walked away and disengaged from the situation. Then was attacked from behind. That’s a whole different situation than anything you cited.

1. The bar fight / head-shot manslaughter case (Colorado) Steven Ray Gonzales (El Paso County, Colorado, 2008) Convicted of reckless manslaughter after shooting John David Ortiz in the head outside a bar (Antique Billiards) following a confrontation that involved pushing, name-calling, and a gun briefly being pressed to Gonzales’ chest before it ended up in his hands. Gonzales claimed self-defense. The jury rejected the claim. Search terms: “Steven Ray Gonzales” manslaughter “Antique Billiards” or “Gonzales v. People” Colorado 2008. 2. The chaotic public brawl / parking-lot shooting case Marvin Rodriguez (AT&T Stadium / Cowboys Stadium parking lot tailgate, Texas) Charged with murder after shooting and killing Richard Sells during a large, chaotic fight involving multiple people after a football game. Rodriguez claimed self-defense and defense of his brother. There was an initial conviction, appeal, and a retrial in which the jury returned a verdict of manslaughter. Search terms: “Marvin Rodriguez” “Richard Sells” Cowboys Stadium OR AT&T Stadium manslaughter (or the 2024 retrial coverage). 3. The close-range punch-to-the-head / immunity denial case (Florida) James Dwight Edwards v. State, 351 So.3d 1142 (Fla. 1st DCA 2022) Edwards was punched multiple times in the head by his girlfriend’s adult son (stepson) during an argument. He shot the stepson at contact range. He sought pretrial immunity under Florida’s self-defense statute. Both the trial court and the appellate court denied immunity, with the opinion noting that “not every blow to the head is deadly” and questioning whether every fistfight automatically justifies deadly force. Full citation: Edwards v. State, 351 So. 3d 1142 (Fla. 1st Dist. Ct. App. 2022). Easy to find on the Florida 1st DCA site or case-law databases. I rest my case. Chud is toast. Quit chimping out about it.

Gun-owner and daughter of a gun instructor here. You can’t legally shoot someone for punching you one time in the face. Especially after intentionally trying to incite violence.

ChudTheBuilder shot a man who attacked him outside a courthouse in Clarksville & accidentally grazed himself in the process. Before it escalated, he asked the man if he was going to “chimp out” the man then walked up & sucker punched him. It is unclear if the man survived.

@ashutoshkjee @JerseyJoeWalc @RonDeSantis It’s because you’re cheaper. I stayed at a hotel in flagstaff that has an Indian lady on a screen as an employee and she printed off my key card remotely. Because she’ll do it for cheaper than an American would.

Both the Hart-Celler Act of 1965 and the additions to it in the early 90s need to be repealed. So many examples of putting American citizens last in those pieces of legislation.
Rep. Andy Ogles@RepOgles

Excited to announce that my 83-page ASSIMILATION Act has been introduced. Months of labor were undertaken by my staff, @SenTuberville and myself in order to GUT the Hart-Celler Act of 1965, as well as scrap provisions of the Immigration Act of the 1990s. The goal of this bill is simple: end replacement migration and ensure American cultural cohesion. This bill will end the H-1B scam, ensure migrants NEVER become a public charge, and make America look like America again. FYI, net immigration immediately decreases by 85% under this bill. Some other things it does: • National Interest Standard • Stringent Character Tests • Mandatory E-Verify • Ends Chain Migration • Ends Diversity Lottery • GUTS Birthright Citizenship • WAY Tougher Asylum Standards • Stronger Public Charge Rules • 10 Year Citizenship Requirement • English & American Civics PROFICIENCY

@AP Thanks for your concern but we'll keep our second amendment securely intact. It's not necessarily meant to protect us from criminals it's to protect us from our governments.. The UK and Australia gave up their guns and now their governments are authoritarian over their people.

A musket from 1776 can fire a lead ball at a velocity of around 1,000 feet per second. Imagine what that can do to a human body. Yet under federal and most state laws, it’s exempt from gun regulations. Many antique or replica guns aren’t considered firearms and even convicted felons can own them.

I am conservative af usually but this is the one case where I disagree with most. He would not have had to defend himself from anything if he did not seek it out on his own. If I drove to southside of chicago and started walking around, conflict would likely arise because I do not belong there, just like kr in this mob

Everyone getting mad at me for not leaping to Chud the Builder's defense is a moron who doesn't understand the is-ought distinction. Let me walk you through this using baby language. Chud will be charged with attempted voluntary manslaughter under Tennessee § 39-13-211. This is a class C felony punishable with 3-15 years in prison and a $10,000 fine. He WILL be charged. No DA wants to establish the precedent that IRL streamers can cause public disturbances, shoot people, and walk. Even if the DA is sympathetic to Chud, he will be under immense public pressure to charge him. There is a very good chance the case never goes to trial. The vast majority of criminal cases end in plea deals, not jury trials. If there is even a whiff of a chance Chud could be acquitted by a jury, the DA will amp up the pressure to make him accept a plea deal. DAs love plea deals because they allow them to goose conviction rates and because jury trials are expensive and time-consuming. There are any number of means by which the DA can twist Chud's arm into accepting a shitty plea deal. The most obvious one is throwing him in county lockup and waiting out the clock until the day before the right to a speedy trial expires. DAs do this FREQUENTLY; a friend of mine who shot a black guy in self-defense was held in jail for YEARS because he refused to plea out and insisted on going to trial. Does Chud have the wherewithal to stick it out in jail for that long? He will either be sharing a cell block with black criminals who will be beating the shit out of "the n-word cracka" every day or he will be put in solitary for his own safety. Solitary confinement is so damaging to inmates that it shows up on brain scans. Chud is very unlikely to get bail because based on his antics as a streamer, the nature of his offense, public pressure, and his prior arrest history, the judge will deem him a flight risk and a threat to public order. If he does get bail, it will be insanely high (bail for class C felonies can be set as high as $250,000) and he will be barred from leaving the state. If he goes back to streaming like he normally does, it will almost certainly end in another incident that sends him right back to jail. Let's assume Chud goes to trial. The pressure to convict will be high. I can foresee the prosecutor arguing that Chud shouting the n-word at black people constitutes "fighting words" (a doctrine in both Tennessee and federal law, see Chaplinsky v. New Hampshire) and thus the black guy who attacked him should be let off. His history as an IRL streamer who intentionally creates public scenes will be used by the prosecution. His defense team will surely argue self-defense, which they should, but can that overcome the public pressure to convict a racist anti-Semitic groyper who makes videos harassing black people? He's in a terrible situation. And for anyone comparing Chud to Kyle Rittenhouse, you're wrong for these reasons: 1) Rittenhouse was not seeking conflict. Chud's entire career is about starting shit. 2) Rittenhouse was inherently sympathetic as a clean-cut white kid. Chud is a racist anti-Semitic groyper with a chomostache. 3) Rittenhouse's "victims" were white. Chud shot a black guy. Should Chud be found guilty at trial, his past history of arrests and disruptive behavior will likely result in the judge giving him a harsh sentence. There will also be, again, immense public pressure to throw the book at him. If you come at me with something like "oh you think it's OKAY for black people to assault white people", you missed the point entirely and are too retarded for this discussion. Chud might be justified in defending himself. He might not deserve to go to prison. But as Clint Eastwood said, deserve's got nothing to do with it. The justice system has every incentive to bring the hammer down on him, which is why he's a retard for putting himself in this situation.
Matt Forney@mattforney

Chud the Builder will now be charged with manslaughter, a class C felony under Tennessee state law. His fate is in the hands of the DA. It's a Republican area, so he might walk. Or the DA might decide to make an example out of him. Either way, he's a fucking retard.

I was wrongly arrested after a restaurant who had “ChudTheBuilder” written down at the host stand before I ever walked in the door, conspired to have me charged. Then, I was held until noon on Mother’s Day. Had to cancel breakfast plans with my family. I was interviewed by the feds and bank account frozen. All electronic devices seized, as well as my firearm. The police cleared my multi-factor authentication keys after they took all my items so now I can’t sign into any of my iCloud or any other accounts. I could not care less about some hat. I am simply weary after 6 months of being attacked by our government for expressing the constitutional freedoms our ancestors fought and died for. Wake up America. It’s not illegal for White people to say the same word they say to each other.
