@ryanjaycowan In 5-10 years Chinese brands will dominate the car market. The European and Japanese brands have a lot to fear.
English

@Kidcowboy2 @RightisRight___ @KatieGrace2022 How is it? We have negative prices during the day because the supply is so great.
English

@RightisRight___ @KatieGrace2022 The grid is having trouble keeping up already let alone this scenario
English

@Brad_OneNation @Peter_Fitz If anything it's the opposite. Scale significantly reduces the cost.
English

@Peter_Fitz Small ones for homes is fine. Large ones for entire grids don't work and the cost is prohibitive.
English

Hello? The 500 K Australians who will have home batteries by the end of this year, call off the jam. Mark says they won't work and you've all been had.
And look, he has TWO flags, and is not afraid to use them!
🇦🇺Mark Wanless🇦🇺@MarkWanless3
@Peter_Fitz Sorry, battery storage is prohibitively expensive and just won't work in the real world ....
English

@wheelreinvent I'm assuming you have solar?
From the calculations I've looked at, unless your regular peak rates are really high it still may not make financial sense, if that's your only objective.
English

“Slash the discount — and people just won’t sell.”
No turnover.
Less investment.
Worse outcomes.
That’s the reality.

Stephanie lives a few neighborhoods away from me in DC and there’s a wild story of her becoming the village villain by cutting down some massive beloved ancient tree so she could improve her view. Anybody know the full story?
Stephanie Cutter@stefcutter
Excited to advise @Kalshi as they continue to dominate the prediction market space. They're one of the fastest growing companies in the US — and one of the rare tech platforms that take a regulatory first approach.
English

@tea_and_sleep @ausnotes @aaronsmith Yeah it helps to be. Also helps to have a battery and an inverter or similar that you can program to do certain things based on live prices.
English

@ausnotes @aaronsmith Hmm looks like you need to be quite deliberate about when/how you consume electricity to make it worth your while
English

@almalumley @HenricusHarry @Peter_Fitz How much does the convection use?
I guess we don't use the oven that regularly.
English

@budzw @HenricusHarry @Peter_Fitz Battery is empty before we even get to airconditioning overnight (which hopefully has stopped). Convection cooktop and oven are huge users of power
English

@HenricusHarry @Peter_Fitz How big is your battery. I have 13kw and am purchasing very day (well night)
English

@MaxAbrahms @ggreenwald A war that America has nothing to gain and everything to lose, seems to make sense.
English

@ggreenwald I’m guessing because they’re covering a war waged by America and Israel. What bothers is you is when Americans view Israel as an ally. Drives you nuts but yes many do like our president and Pentagon and Secretary of State.
English

Fox News has taken the American flag and literally melded it onto the Israeli flag, as if it's just one country in the minds of its poor, old viewers. #AmericaFirst

@ShowerCapAM @aaronsmith @mattjcan I mean that's like a lot of things in life. If you buy petrol at the most expensive time of the week, don't wait for the bi-weekly specials at Coles/Woolies, haven't reviewed your utility plans, mortgage, super fund etc. The list literally goes on forever.
English

@aaronsmith @mattjcan Both of these things can be true at once.
If people are willing to modify their consumption based on weather, or invest in their own assets (solar + battery) it is the cheapest ever.
If not, it is expensive.
English

@fictillius They seriously make it sound like it's the same as the need for petrol stations.

Every house has an EV charger. We also call them power points.

@BenK_Data @col_a_buendia I think the two most important things with a politician is what their character shows through their time in politics and life and also who owns them.
English

@col_a_buendia I seriously want to know how you could have ever believed him? I don't understand. He's the most notorious liar to ever run from President - he showed you who he was in the years before he became president, when he was, then after he was. And you STILL got conned????
How?
English

@Matt_Camenzuli Donald Trump is doing his best to promote alternative energy sources beyond fossil fuels.
Watch the EV uptake accelerate from here. He’s the green President.
English

@CBadcock @disco___cat I wish they got out of there but I doubt it.
It leaves Iran in a far stronger place than before the war and the Petrodollar is over which would significantly weaken the US over time.
English

@disco___cat Which will be done by diplomacy- you can already see a number of countries trying that.
English

Boots on the ground or we’re outta there?
Karoline Leavitt@PressSec
TUNE IN: Tomorrow night at 9PM ET, President Trump will give an Address to the Nation to provide an important update on Iran.
English

@BenK_Data @JulieBorowski This war is one of the stupidest decisions I've seen in my life.
English

@JulieBorowski Lol. Naivety is adorable, to a point. But to think war reduces freedom is a belief born in ignorance of history. Ww1 and ww2 say you're painfully ignorant.
English

@dannolan @ZackMaril You said that aren't gay, I see nothing but a massive erection in the middle and the solar panels kneeling in front of it.
