Breaking news tonight: the Liberals are already moving to use their new backdoor “majority” to stack parliamentary committees with Liberal MPs - limiting Parliament’s oversight powers and laying the groundwork to ram through their agenda (and who knows what else) on Canadians. The Liberals love their lofty rhetoric about compromise, the defence of institutions and bringing people together. But at the end of the day, the only real principle this party knows is power - power at all costs, power as an end in itself.
