@smiley37555 @FreeGrassy @MarkJCarney @fordnation Thanks Laurie. I bet Doug knew who the protesters were. This wasn't the first protest for Grassy Narrows. He has a bad habit of letting the PM take the fall for his failures.

The Cowichan decision a) would have been the same under either the Conservatives or the Liberals, since governments don’t write legal decisions (and aboriginal rights are not subject to the notwithstanding clause), b) upheld a property right.
Juno News@junonewscom

Poilievre slams the Liberals for a "land grab" threatening private property over a high-speed rail project, pledging Conservatives will restore protections: "Property rights are human rights." He points to B.C.'s Cowichan decision as proof property isn't safe under the Liberals.

Today’s Artemis II launch is brought to you by the Biden Administration. You know Donald Trump wasn't going to send a woman and a Black man into space.

A key Canada vs. US distinction as described by Dominique Clift. The guy who gets behind the wheel of a car after chugging 12 beers exercises his "freedom". The guy who refrains from doing that exercises personal responsibility. The US prioritises the former, Canada the latter.

"Despite all the spin, the real reason for this sudden (FOI) clampdown is dreadfully obvious: The Ford government has some things to hide, and it's altering the law...to make sure those things stay safely out of sight - @Thetrilliumca thetrillium.ca/opinion/editor…

@FreeGrassy @MarkJCarney I support your cause, & Doug Ford is the hold up. Kathleen Wynne set aside 87mil to clean up the mercury & shut down the Dryden Mill. Doug ignored it & didn't do a damn thing. Send your complaints to @fordnation this on him.

@PierrePoilievre There are many factors that go into the price of fuel including market size and taxes (federal, provincial, municipal). But there's no logic to your "expensive to supply" comment and taxes have not gone up. Info on taxes, regional breakdowns here: canadianfuels.ca/industry-facts…

When seven of nine scientists connected to a single defense laboratory disappear or die within a year—across distinct fields that converge on next-gen propulsion and energy physics—the statistical odds of chance are infinitesimal. What we’re witnessing is likely a suppression cascade triggered by policy shifts on UAP disclosure and the exposure risk posed by classified physics breakthroughs. This is not about extraterrestrials—it’s about control of technologies that could upend the energy, aerospace, and intelligence equilibrium of the modern world. These are not random tragedies. They are data points on the frontier where science touches power—and power erases footprints. 🚨 'Something Dark Is Going On': Nine Top-Level Scientists Die Or Go Missing In Past Year amgreatness.com/2026/03/30/som…

Seeing ref to Brexit and (rightfully) that it was bad for the UK, brings to mind the fact that Poilievre recently went to the UK and met with pro-Brexiters - some of whom have written articles criticizing Carney (because they didn't like Carney saying Brexit is/was a mistake)

BREAKING: “It is increasingly clear that as the world continues down this volatile path our long term national interest requires closer partnership with our allies in Europe and with the European Union.. Brexit did deep damage to our economy” Prime minister Keir Starmer 👏

Cupp: I just want to remind you that back in 1980, during the Iran-Iraq war, eight days in Iraq asked for a ceasefire, Iran rejected it. It waited eight years, turned down six more ceasefire requests… It took eight years to get Iran to agree to a ceasefire. The president throws around ceasefire as if he can just will it into happening. That is not who we are dealing with. They're ready for a much longer battle. I don't know if Trump is aware of that, but they are ready

Money for a Ferris wheel, but no money to make life more affordable as people struggle to get by? The word ‘groceries’ isn’t even mentioned in Doug Ford’s budget – at all. There is: ⁉️ No attempt to stop price gouging ⁉️ No relief to make rent more affordable ⁉️ Lots of cash for Doug Ford’s pet projects This government is failing people when they need help most.
