It’s not retelling the timeline step-by-step, it’s focusing on a different aspect. That’s why it’s not a contradiction. Other people calling it one doesn’t make it true. If you think the explanation fails, show how otherwise you’re just repeating yourself. You’re trying to have a conversation you’re not equipped to have. That’s a caricature. Christianity doesn’t teach “rapist says sorry automatic heaven.” Real repentance means turning from evil and being transformed cheap words don’t cut it. And it’s not “good people vs bad people,” because Christianity teaches everyone falls short. As for belief, the claim is that God judges justly based on the light a person has (Rom 2), not arbitrarily. You can reject that, but it’s not the cartoon version you’re arguing against.
