This is because of the NATO’s nuclear sharing arrangements and concerns Germany, Italy, Belgium, Holland and Turkey. In the past, European-built fighter aircraft were fully licensed to carry U.S. nuclear weapons under NATO nuclear sharing. The clearest example is the Panavia Tornado — a European consortium aircraft that was certified for B61 for decades. Today, that has changed. No new European fighter aircraft (such as Eurofighter or Rafale) has been licensed to carry the B61‑12, while the F‑35 is the only fully certified platform going forward. The practical result is that countries wishing to remain in NATO’s nuclear sharing arrangement are effectively forced to buy the F‑35. Politically, it can also be interpreted as market leverage: control the weapon → control the platform → secure F‑35 sales. Regardless of intent, the outcome is clear: European alternatives are excluded, U.S. aircraft benefit.

Germany is considering buying 35+ additional U.S. F-35 jets, potentially bringing its fleet to around 85 aircraft, as its joint fighter project with France (FCAS) appears close to collapse. Source: Reuters

Battlefield 6 players say the new Windchill bundle looks AI generated and EA still hasn’t confirmed, despite promising the final game wouldn’t use AI art. Via: Crippling Things #Battlefield6

This definitely looks AI Generated right? #Battlefield6

ARC Raiders Expedition Skin Reward:

You know what is worse than DICE lying about not using Ai to create content for the game? That the person(s) who were responsible for creating and putting it in the game did not notice that the gun has 2 barrels.... Or are these steps handled by Ai as well?

@BattleNonSense Yeah this is unacceptable imo. And I just saw this on Battlefield aswell. Not sure it's from DICE, but still

#Battlefield6 is using AI generated cosmetics despite DICE's VP General Manager Rebecka Coutaz said (back in October) players wouldn't see anything made by generative AI within the game. Coutaz claimed generative AI was used in preparatory stages "to allow more time and more space to be creative," but there isn't currently a way to incorporate it into developer's daily work. The player card sticker 'Winter Warning' features 2 barrels on the M4A1. Other cosmetics and descriptions have been made by generative AI within #Battlefield6 as well. x.com/BFBulletin/sta…
