My Boomer parents retired to Florida about 10 years ago. Sure enough my parents’ health is declining. Instead of moving back to the house they never sold, their solution is that I uproot my wife and kids and move to Florida. Why are they like this? 1/2

@LordsManor @AdsoOfBelk I think if you added a building like a "town guard" or "mustering ground" or something like that where you could have professional soldiers and a standing army would be good. I get that the mercenaries kind of take this role but a homegrown professional army would feel better

@AdsoOfBelk Thanks, it gets more difficult to develop the more finished the game gets, not only there is existing complexity to maintain but making something perfect is about 10x harder than just making it work. So we're doing the 10x now as there will be no more "it's ea" excuses.

Manor lords is fairly fun but from what I can tell it kind of fell into that early access pit where game development progress paradoxically slows down dramatically as soon as the game becomes a hit

@SpookyCarnivur @Uniting_ps In the test range backed up all the way I am still hitting 25 on the last target. Which is over 100m away. So idk maybe the test range is bugged. I prefer it for sure though I think it is the best aggressive LMG ive used.

I can't fake my hype for STALKER 2 anymore. The Zone doesn't feel alive, the weapons are frustrating, the AI is basic or buggy, there's no A-Life, and I'm dreading putting all this time in only to get quest/progress locked later on. I think I'll wait for the fixes.

@TeslaRust Small walls were actually one of the worst changes they've done. You can smack 1 tree with a hatchet and have like 3 or 4 of them so whenever someone gets shot at the drop a portafort for no cost. At least large walls had a large cost so you couldn't have 10 early game.

How do we all feel about the new walls? I feel like they are so cheap, as soon as I shoot someone they make fort Knox and play time for their boys to show up, Just thinking maybe they should cost a little more so people can't run 20 walls.
