Really quite proud of my submission to @clairesilver’s contest this round. Literally years in the making! And at least 24 total hours in the past few weeks alone. Error's Elegance: A Testament to Glitch Art's Evolution "Error's Elegance," embodies a decade-long exploration of glitch art's transformative power. This piece is a multi-layered creation, born from the fusion of human artistry and artificial intelligence. It began with two custom AI models trained on my own glitch art archive, one focusing on scanner glitches for the background, the other on 3D glitches for the foreground elements. Eden.Art provided the platform for this initial AI-driven exploration. The resulting outputs were further refined through iterative AI modeling, using both the original source material and the AI's interpretations. These refined elements then served as reference material for Midjourney, where the final composition took shape. Initially, the artwork evolved into an animation on Krea, depicting a mesmerizing figure emerging from and dissolving back into the glitchy canvas. While visually stunning, it didn't fully align with the contest's theme. This prompted a deeper dive into the piece's potential. A fragment of the original collage was transformed into a 3D model using 3DAIstudio, then reintegrated into the 2D composition within a 3D environment. Final touches were added with colorThief and Lightroom, enhancing the piece's depth and vibrancy. "Error's Elegance" represents not only a culmination of my artistic journey but also a testament to the exciting possibilities that emerge when human creativity and AI innovation intersect. It is an exploration of beauty found in the unexpected, a celebration of the digital realm's unique aesthetic.

I just finished the paperwork to start the process to hire an assistant for the first time in my life. I'm focused af on keeping growing as an artist but have to keep my mental health on point, I think both can be maintained with help. They will be doing research and admin tasks for me, getting me organized better and little to do with art creation besides organizing files. I have a hard time handing over some control of the chaos that is my life, but I'm more so grateful to be able to easily get help now - not just with this but for other things holding me back in progress because of lack of resources <3
