For over a decade, I've been a consistent supporter of @Sargon_of_Akkad and Carl as a man. Although, recently Carl has seen me as trolling or counter-signaling him and implied disloyalty. Where he showed that the Izzat (honor/prestige) system of inter-clan or inter-tribal politics leads to an abandonment of personal responsibility and an obfuscation of personal vice that is undesirable, anti-Western and unChristian. This is an excellent observation. Now I offer Carl the following challenge in charitas: please provide a coherent defense of how Izzat is not Carl Schmitt's friend-enemy distinction applied to the level of inter-tribal or inter-clan politics. I believe that if Carl is objective in his analysis he will see that Izzat is Carl Schmitt's theory in praxis.
