@bweiss14 @GoodmanHoops It's been 1.5 years. It's way too early to declare it one of the greatest turnarounds in college sports history. That's absurd. They have still won zero bowl or playoff games under Cignetti.

1) Cignetti has turned Indiana from a laughingstock into a potential two-time playoff program. It's one of the greatest turnarounds in college sports history. I have no issue with this contract with the $$$$ he has infused into the program by making it nationally relevant. 2) There is no chance Stephen A. has any clue who Curt Cignetti is.
Awful Announcing@awfulannouncing

Stephen A. Smith: "Did Indiana make the right move with Cignetti?" Paul Finebaum: " They did not...I'm still not convinced that Curt Cignetti is one of the top coaches in America."

@ThisFnGameIsOvr @GoodmanHoops They have the most losses ever of any FBS team. They hadn't won a bowl game since 1991. They have a solid chance of going to the playoffs in back-to-back years. That's one of the greatest turnarounds in college sports history.

@GoodmanHoops It's been 1.5 years. Indiana is 2-2 against ranked opponents since Cignetti took over. Way too early to say it's "one of the greatest turnarounds in college sports history".

kinda crazy that despite having half of it filled with parking, the .17 sq mi surrounding Indy's downtown canal hosts over 2,000 people, a population density of over 11,750/sq mi.

@snarkademic Do you have evidence that 1/3 of them were children? But let’s say that’s true, but in the long run it prevented many more innocent people, including children, from being killed or kidnapped, via deterrence. Would you support it under those circumstances?

If someone messaged my workplace about my college-aged kid's politics, I would probably do what I could to ruin that someone's life.

The reason we don't build more of these isn't because of zoning, it's because nobody actually wants to live in them. You quickly discover that you spend your life on stairs. The living space on the second floor means carrying *everything* up stairs every time you come home. The only person this design serves is developers who can convince people that they can live in expensive neighborhoods where where land is finite and expensive. Eventually they move a few miles away where they discover the joy of unloading groceries without doing a workout. That's why we have suburbs and cars. 🇺🇸

@IndyDPW Doing everything you can to make the roads more difficult to traverse. It’s like you guys crave the gridlock of larger cities, so you’ll engineer it into existence.

@IndyDPW What are your plans for stopping cars from parking in the bike lanes? Will bollards be put in place? I drove New York this week and there were at least two dozen cars parked in the bike lane.

@CzarIito Winters in Indiana have been extremely mild the past few years. We barely get snow anymore and the temps don’t get crazy cold like they used to. It’s been wild to witness the transformation over the past two decades
