@minhsmind @nytimes @OpenAI Not entirely accurate. The photo and language translations can be tested, and I was able to use photos to test geometry problem solving.

@bxchen @nytimes @OpenAI That's fair that they didn't release the new model. But it's still true that this is not a proper test of the (unreleased) new model. This is just a test of something that has been out since last year.

@minhsmind @nytimes @OpenAI The voice was actually supposed to be out two weeks ago. They told me it was live and then it was pulled for fixes. The video has no TBD date.

@bxchen @nytimes @OpenAI They stated in their demo that it wasn’t out yet and would be coming later. What came out on that day is ChatGPT4o in text but they stated that their new voice model wasn’t out yet and would be coming later in the summer.

I respect @TheAtlantic. It should issue a correction. No one asked me for comment, or I would've pointed out the false context. The irony is that Rubenstein twisted a line to fit his ideological point — the very act he criticizes. And all serious journalists scrutinize opinions.

My father-in-law is a builder. He is insanely gifted. We were looking at a pre-iOS 7 app together years ago and I asked him what it would cost to build it today. I will never forget his answer… "We can’t, we don’t know how to do it."
