"Slinging mud is fair game, but Arizona law and the First Amendment draw a line at defamation" writes @stephen_richer. Just where/how that line gets drawn is one of the biggest questions in AZ politics and #1A law right now, especially in light of #Dominion @FoxNews settlement

Noteworthy that previously federal prosecutors @TheJusticeDept had charged people for threatening AZ election officials but former AZ atty general @GeneralBrnovich declined to take up cases at the state level

Breaking: Attorney General @krismayes has indicted a Phoenix man who allegedly sent a threatening email to Maricopa County Supervisor @billgatesaz, who as supervisor helps oversee elections in the county. He faces up to 6 months in jail and a $2,500 fine.
