@EndWokeness Liberal women and beta/cuck males, the underwear stain of society. Both do nothing to advance or improve society but do everything they can to maintain their narcissism and sociopathic behavior.

Yes the prophet Isaiah was speaking of Mary when she fulfilled the prophet of Christ being born from a virgin. Just as the specific aspects of His torturing we fulfilled by man.
John begins his vision of the description of the woman in Revelation as “a sign in heaven”, which shows it’s not a person. I have much more but I got to get on the road.
English

Israel is called "woman" in the prophets, that’s corporate typology.
But the specific "woman" of Genesis 3:15 is the one whose seed crushes the serpent’s head. That’s not a nation. This is very clear. That’s Mary and her Son (Jesus). The same prophets who call Israel "woman" also prophesied a virgin would conceive (Isaiah 7:14) and the Messiah would come from the house of David. Was he also talking about Israel?
Revelation 12 makes it undeniable: the woman clothed with the sun gives birth to the male child who rules the nations (Jesus), flees to the wilderness (Egypt), and has "the rest of her offspring" (the Church). That's Mary. You can’t reduce the Mother of the Messiah to "just Israel." God is precise. He chose her from the foundation of the world. The early Church saw this clearly.
Protestants flattening Mary 1,500 years later doesn’t change the text. She's the new Eve. The true Ark. The Daughter of Zion. The early church fathers agreed.
English

Listen carefully, Catholics and most especially, Protestans.
I think God is too calculated - way too precise, way too sovereign - for the Blessed Virgin Mary to just be some random occurrence. Protestants say the Blessed Virgin Mary could’ve been 'anybody'. That God just randomly picked some ordinary woman who “found favor” with Him.
That is egregiously wrong.
Mary didn’t just stumble into a divine lottery. She didn’t “just happen” to catch God’s eye like some cosmic game of chance. Our God is omnipotent and omniscient, He doesn’t wake up one morning and go, “Okay, time for the Incarnation… uhmm... let’s cast lots and pick somebody real quick.”
NO!
This was planned from the very foundation of the world.
For instance, if we take a look at the Book of Job. When Job dared to question how God runs the universe, the Almighty didn’t gently pat him on the back. God answered OUT OF THE WHIRLWIND and thundered:
“Who is this that obscures my plans with words without knowledge? Brace yourself like a man; I will question you, and you shall answer Me!”
Then came the divine bomb;
“Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Tell me, if you have understanding. Who determined its measurements, surely you know! Or who stretched the line upon it? On what were its bases sunk, or who laid its cornerstone - when the morning stars sang together and all the sons of God shouted for joy?”
( Job 38:4-7 )
God wasn’t just flexing. He was reminding Job, and us, that EVERY SINGLE DETAIL of creation was measured, marked, and masterminded by Him. The dimensions. The foundations. The cornerstones. The very song of the stars on day one. Nothing was left to chance. Not one atom.
So if the same God calculated the exact width of the oceans, the exact orbit of the planets, and the exact moment the morning stars burst into song, do you really think He left the greatest moment in human history (the Word becoming flesh) to a last-minute random selection?
From the instant man fell in Eden, the plan was already rolling. Genesis 3:15 (the protoevangelium) God Himself declared war on the serpent: “I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; He will crush your head….” That wasn’t a vague idea. That was the first announcement of MARY’S SON.
Then the prophets narrowed it down with laser precision; the line of Abraham, the tribe of Judah, the house of David, the virgin of Isaiah 7:14, the exact town of Micah 5:2, the “fullness of time” in Galatians 4:4 when Roman roads, Greek language, and Jewish longing all converged like a divine symphony.
--Every piece was pre-calculated.--
Mary was prepared. Her heart, her lineage, her faith, her “yes” at the Annunciation - all of it was woven into the eternal blueprint long before Gabriel ever appeared.
It is worthy to mention that the same God who laid the earth’s foundations had already chosen the perfect vessel to carry the uncontainable One.
This is not “God picked a nice Jewish girl.”
This is the Master Architect executing a plan written before time began.
Protestant friends, we love you, but flattening Mary into “just some random favored woman” robs God of His glory. It turns sovereign providence into divine improvisation.
Our God is not improvising.
He is the God of Job’s whirlwind, the God who measures galaxies and counts the hairs on your head. And when the fullness of time came, He didn’t scramble for a mother.
He had already chosen HER.
The Blessed Virgin Mary.
She was planned, prepared, perfectly calculated.
Glory to the God in the highest, who leaves nothing to chance.

@Xtopher_Uzo And throughout scripture Israel was identified by God and prophets as a woman.
Ezekiel 16:8-14
Isaiah 54:5-6
Isaiah 62:4-5
Jeremiah 3:1,20
Hosea 2:19-20
Zechariah 8:2-3
Amos 5:2 (The virgin Israel)
English

There are many examples of heroic people throughout scripture. But none of them have been memorialized or idolized like the Catholics have done with Mary.
The problem with identifying Mary as the “woman” God prophesied about in the garden or as the “woman” in Revelation, is it dismisses the promise to Abraham, Israelites historical walk with God, His promises to them, and His future prophecy concerning them.
Your religion also considers may the fulfillment of the symbolic meaning of the Ark of the Covenant. Which identity belongs to Christ, alone.
1. The Ark housed the law (tablets), manna, and Aaron’s rod.
a. Christ fulfilled the law (Matthew 5:17),
b. He is the true Bread of Life (John 6:35),
c. He is our eternal High Priest (Hebrews 7).
On the outside of the Ark was, “The mercy seat,” where blood was sprinkled for atonement.
The mercy seat (Hebrew: kappōreth) was the solid gold lid on the Ark of the Covenant in the Most Holy Place. Once a year, on the Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur), the high priest entered and sprinkled the blood of a spotless sacrifice on it to make atonement for the sins of the people (Leviticus 16:14-15). It was the place where God’s holy presence met with sinful man through atoning blood.
Romans 3:24-25
“being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus; whom God displayed publicly as a propitiation [mercy seat] in His blood through faith. This was to demonstrate His righteousness, because in the forbearance of God He passed over the sins previously committed.”
The Greek word translated “propitiation” is hilastērion, the exact term used in the Septuagint for the mercy seat. Paul declares that God has now publicly displayed Christ Himself as the true mercy seat, where atonement is made by His own blood.
So, Christ is the mercy seat; His own blood provides final, once-for-all atonement
The Ark symbolized God’s presence among His people. In Christ, “God with us” (Immanuel, Matthew 1:23), God tabernacles among us in the flesh.
And in your religion, she’s also considered to be the one who leads people to Christ. This is the role of the Holy Spirit. IMO, This is borderline skating on the unforgivable sin mentioned by Christ.
Matthew 12:31-32 “Therefore I say to you, any sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven people, but blasphemy against the Spirit shall not be forgiven. Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man, it shall be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come.”
Roles of the Holy Spirit
John 16:13, (Christ speaking) “But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come.”
John 15:26, (Christ Speaking) “When the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, that is the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify about Me.”
John 14:26, (Christ speaking) “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you.”
John16:14-15 (Christ speaking) “He will glorify Me, for He will take of Mine and will disclose it to you. All things that the Father has are Mine; therefore I said that He takes of Mine and will disclose it to you.”
1 John 2:27, (John speaking) “As for you, the anointing which you received from Him abides in you, and you have no need for anyone to teach you; but His anointing teaches you about all things, and is true and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you abide in Him.”
Romans 8:14,16 (Paul speaking) For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God… The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God.
1 Corinthians 2:10-12, (Paul speaking) “For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God

This is the problem with religions elevating mankind into places beyond their brokenness.
God did not need us in creation, He didn’t need man to manifest our savior, He didn’t need man to fulfill the covenant or establish the new one. And He won’t need man to fulfill our savior’s return.
Mankind cannot be the foundation of any eternal works because of our failed human nature.

If a pope can be a heretic, the gates of hell has literally prevailed against the Church, and Christ lied.
If a pope can be a heretic, I can no longer be Catholic, as I cannot trust the pope to teach orthodox doctrine.
Your logic is completely illogical.
AJ 🇻🇦@sede_killer
because sedevacantism, whether you recognize it or not, fundamentally necessitates believing that Jesus lied and i could never believe in anything that claims Our Lord could ever do such a thing.
English

He’s a believer just like the rest of us. The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob is the same God He was then and the same He is now.
Learning all aspects of His nature can only be found with studying ALL of scripture. But more importantly, we learn of the failure of weak and shifty man, especially the failures of the ones who claimed to be God’s.
God has provided this to us so we don’t fall into the same arrogance. But look here we are, leaning on man’s credentials to determine our belief.
Study it for yourself, if you don’t that’s fine too, but don’t expect others to be lazy in scripture because it suits you.

Scripture teaches that:
Human government is ordained by God for the ordering of earthly society.
Governing authorities are God’s ministers (“servants”) who bear the sword, a clear reference to the power of life and death (capital punishment) to restrain evil and promote justice.
This authority is rooted in the image of God (Genesis 9:6) and remains valid in the New Testament era.
Weak societies produce weak people

Murderous, vile individuals who have no regard for life do not need to be alive. If they give their life to Christ on deathrow, fine. Soft societies produce wicked people.
English

Pope Leo XIV maintains that support for capital punishment contradicts the pro-life position.
In a recent address regarding the anniversary of Illinois’ abolition of the death penalty, he reiterated the Church’s mandate to protect human dignity across all life stages.
Consistent with this theological framework, "the Church teaches, in the light of the Gospel, that 'the death penalty is inadmissible because it is an attack on the inviolability and dignity of the person', and she works with determination for its abolition worldwide".
Consequently, the Pope rejects punitive measures that violate the fundamental sanctity of human existence .

Pope Leo XIV sent a video message to participants gathered at DePaul University in Chicago for the 15th anniversary of Illinois' abolition of the death penalty. The Holy Father's address drew on the Church's consistent teaching that the dignity of every human person must be protected at every stage of life, including at its end.

@jodyamato_ @c_h78 @MrCasey62 Just honestly asking if you have studied the Eucharistic miracles and the associated scientists who studied them. You can read their reports. Jesus is literally performing a miracle to show the world that the Eucharist is his true flesh and blood

@DefiantLs Issues which prideful and broken mankind has been struglling with for 1000’s of years. Nothing is going to change.
Genesis 6:5 - Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great on the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
English

Pope Leo XIV: “We tend to think that when the Church is talking about morality, that the only issue of morality is sexual. And in reality, I believe there are much greater, more important issues, such as justice, equality, freedom of men and women, freedom of religion, that would all take priority before that particular issue.”

@jackunheard I wonder what depths of depravity our society can swim too. Once I think we’ve found the bottom of the septic tank, we figure out how to make it deeper.

NEW: A transgender and his partner have been arrested for kidnapping his 10-year-old son and attempting to fly him to Cuba for gender reassignment surgery.
They lied to the family about a camping trip in Canada, cut off all contact, and took the boy to Havana.
The biological mother fought back and got her son returned. She now has full custody.
The couple faces federal international parental kidnapping charges.
This is demonic. They need to be locked up for life.

You’ve asked for an explanation of how the spirit leads us to truth.
My little anecdotal story may not be the epic proof of Holy Spirit intervention, but we have a practical God and He accomplishes the guiding of His sheep through simple methods.
It’s man who likes to over complicate His truth, as I stated in my previous responses. We are prideful and arrogant, but the truth remains eternal. Whether it’s a simple truth of scripture or an alignment of scriptural truths and religions.

Who has the authority to definitively interpret Scripture? Or decide what is Scripture?
Danny@Truth_matters20
The Apocryphal books contain incorrect information, contradict the other books of the Bible, and don't even read like the rest of Scripture. Why would anyone think they are divinely inspired?

@Ghost_Groyper @MichaeliArchang One more time, Faith comes from scripture. Without faith there is no salvation.
Whether that word is spoken or read, when Christ calls you will “hear.” When I read a book or type a letter, I hear my words in my head.
The word read or spoken inspires faith.
English

@c_h78 @MichaeliArchang His word is necessary, but is reading the bible necessary? Those are two different questions
English

Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of Christ.
Prior to Christ calling us to our salvation do we really “hear“ his words. When you were a child were attentive to every word and grasped every concept told to you? No of course not.
The question was is reading the Bible necessary for salvation.
Paul said faith (which is needed for salvation) comes from hearing the word of Christ. The catalyst of salvation comes from the calling Christ, which can be found in His word, the development of faith is found in His word, and the Holy Spirit guides us in truth of His word.
So is His word necessary for faith, yes it is.
English

@c_h78 @MichaeliArchang You can hear the word of God through word of mouth… the question was if you have to read the bible.
