Join us THIS Bank Holiday Monday, 6th MAY 2024 as we: - Remember the Holocaust, - Make a stand against antisemitism and; - Celebrate Jewish life. THIS HISTORIC, Londons first March of Life will be a powerful display of love & unity, led by Holocaust survivors and family members of reformed Nazi perpetrators. 2:45pm - Meeting at Covent Garden (Southampton Street entrance) Matching together to Whitehall for a public rally with music and special guest speakers. End time: around 4:14pm. Last week the Holocaust memorial sculpture was covered over to ‘protect it from peaceful anti-Israel marchers’. The week before that a police officer threatened a ‘visibly Jewish’ man with arrest for the ‘crime’ of simply walking in London. The explosion of Jewish hate is totally unacceptable and we will be seen and heard, in peace and in love. We must speak up and out. Darkness cannot exist in the light, all peaceful allies of the Jewish people are welcome to join us. @caaauk @Mark_Pickles I think the term “a people” is more accepted, as the term “ethno state” only applies to the states, i.e. Israelis since 1948. “A people” would include British Jews and encompass those persecuted before 1948 too. Thank you for supporting, listening & learning.

Imagine this was said about any other racial group, if you can’t see how appalling this statement is, try replacing the word ‘Holocaust’ with the word ‘slavery’, then replace the word ‘Jewish’ with the word black, then replace the word ‘Israel’ with any country associated with the black community…..see?! @caaauk Indeed. But I'd never describe Jews as a 'racial group'. Many are black, many brown, many white. And anyone who is committed enough can covert to Judaism & become a Jew. As I often argue, antisemitism (anti-Shem-itism), including Jewish antisemitsm, is *more* serious than racism.

Specifically St. Pancras Church (link below) has thought it appropriate to host the known, virulent antisemite Roger Walters in an event to raise funds for Gaza. It is well documented that humanitarian aid is stolen by Hamas to continue its abuse of the innocent and uninvolved civilians in Gaza and build further infrastructure to kill Jews. Roger Walters has in the past dressed up as a Nazi officer on stage, with a gun, mocked Anne Franks, the 12-year-old Jewish girl who was murdered by the Nazis in the Holocaust and has a long list of hateful and racist comments made against Jews and Israel. If you too find this deeply offensive, no reflection of what the Church is called to be and find it utterly unacceptable please email the parish vicar on the following email and let them know that platforming a well-known Jew hater is not only offensive but entirely unacceptable. The event is planned to go ahead at 5 pm TODAY in London the 21st of June.
