Sir Bob (Dad) was NZ Open Champion in 1954, ‘66 ‘70 & ‘73 and is now NZ Hickory Open Champion in 2023! Played yesterday at Christchurch Golf Club, he went around the 12 hole course in one over par, winning by one shot!

Did you know Kingsbarns Castle used to sit on the 4th green @KingsbarnsGL & was a favourite residence of King John Balliol (1292-96). It fell into disrepair in the 1700s, then in 1850 the castle stones were used to build Kingsbarns harbour so potatoes could be shipped to London.
