@truechatdata Depends how many bugs you relied on. Always check the release notes! If you're extra thorough/cautious, the commit history and diffs are hard to beat. We recommend deploying to a test/stage environment first.

What if we say Ferron challenges that (although Ferron is lesser known than Caddy)?
Though we agree that Caddy's HTTPS automation logic is battle-tested.

Reminder to Caddy plugin maintainers: Do not upgrade the Caddy dependency unless your plugin uses a new exported API. The Caddy version in your go.mod does not dictate what version of Caddy is used, it sets a *minimum* version. Probably turn off Dependabot.

Wow, @nginx's marketing materials are full of corporate BS and lies, for example, on blog.nginx.org/blog/encrypted…, they have the gall to claim to have the only "practical path to ECH today," but conveniently neglect to mention @caddyserver which automated it over a year ago.
