So not believing someone because their claims make no sense considering the facts, data and science of a matter constitutes a lack of "rational thought"? I cant say that I'm not surprised. You could have just said you disagreed, but then you bring in "rational thought". Interesting.

'TERRIFYING': Dashcam video shows the moment a Tesla Cybertruck, allegedly operating in self-driving mode, nearly sent a Houston mom and her infant off a bridge before violently crashing into an overpass barrier. The woman claims she suffered multiple injuries from the incident and is now suing the automaker for $1 million.

The ozone hole—a severe seasonal depletion of the ozone layer primarily over Antarctica—was indeed a major environmental concern starting in the late 1970s and 1980s (with the hole first prominently reported around 1985, though observations date back earlier). It led to high UV radiation risks in places like New Zealand and Australia, prompting global action via the 1987 Montreal Protocol, which phased out ozone-depleting substances like CFCs. As of March 2026 (current date), the ozone layer is showing clear signs of recovery due to that international ban. The Antarctic ozone hole still forms annually during the Southern Hemisphere spring (roughly August–December), but it's getting smaller, shorter-lived, and less severe over time. It was never associated with global warming. You're mixing your tin foil hats up.

@NoContextHumans I was taught in the 1980s that there was a hole in the ozone layer and it was caused by man and was causing global warming and that we shouldn't use CFC gases. What a load of balls it was all a hoax, my teacher was probably a reptile!

I did not participate in, and still have no knowledge of, any money laundering in the operation of the Lodge. I understand that some people assume that because there was a search warrant, a crime must have been committed, but that’s not really how the process works. A search warrant is just one step in an investigation, based on an affidavit from law enforcement. That affidavit has not been given to the Lodge or made public. My heart goes out to the hundreds of Lodge employees whose jobs are in jeopardy. These are good, kind, hardworking people, and it is painful to see them struggle through this uncertainty. I also care deeply about the situation for our members. There are numerous people with both chip balances and tournament payouts that cannot currently be processed. I want to reiterate that these members will be made whole, and I will personally make sure that happens, in coordination with my attorneys, so that it is done properly. With the advice of my lawyers, I am committed to cooperating with law enforcement officials, answering any questions they have, and doing everything I can to clear up the confusion of what has and has not been happening at The Lodge. I expect to provide another update soon, once more information is available and my attorneys have had an opportunity to fully assess the situation. In the meantime, I appreciate your patience and support.

@BitcoinRachy Is he 100% sure that Bitcoin won't do something crazy to the upside. The intellectually honest will be some percent confident below 100%. Let's say he's 95% confident. Ok, and you want to put 100% into gold? Maybe 95% is more aligned with your degree of certainty. 5% BTC?

@AntonKreil I asked OP to detail the spread and fees and he said "none". In fact it's 250/5000 THB (5%) ATM fee and nearly a 10% FX spread. He's paying close to 15% and chirping about the future of finance. Dude, get math lessons before offering financial advice.

Bro seriously used VISA in Thailand to access his crypto via USDC, withdrew 5,000 bht and got charged 250 BHT by Bangkok Bank for withdrawing it (5%), then claims "it's the future of finance" 🤣 Thats not progress, its regress. You're still using VISA and paying a 5% transaction fee. Also you"re getting charged a massive spread on the FX conversion.., and you're getting charged by whoever avicimonkey guys are. He lost over 15% on that transaction... Honestly, thats the worst transaction since the dutch sold New York to the English in return for Suriname in 1667.

@jussy_world @solana @AviciMoney Interesting. Can you detail the costs? Spreads, fees and so on? The frictionless swap is great. It should be relatively cheap but I'm guessing it's probably not.
