@crizzonet @1stNamBunchaNo @CJ1two That’s why I asked, for everyone else who can’t read on this fuck ass website
English

@1stNamBunchaNo @caitlinyantis @CJ1two yesterday it was. also, i said what i paid not what the gas price is. i know reading comprehension can be hard for some
English

@1stNamBunchaNo @crizzonet @CJ1two Let’s at least be honest in our dealings with our fellow man, my dude
English

@crizzonet @CJ1two And how many rewards points did you have to cash in to get that price?
English

@InfinitySodas @Detail__Devil @JadeAtrophis If you buy bleached processed white bread. A standard whole wheat loaf will in fact mold in two weeks on the counter (but my counter top does get sunlight)
English

@Detail__Devil @JadeAtrophis American bread is quite airy and sweet but the loaf is softer with a less cripsy crust. British bread tends to be denser and much more savoury with a rougher texture. American bread also keeps for a disconcertingly long time, I'm guessing due to the sweetness
English

This is the inside of a Tesco

Seorge 🇪🇺@coaiecrete
americans look at this plastic shit and think mmmm what a nice loaf of bread
English

@And1Moose @deenayaah @october31365 @Cash_De_Vil But like, genetics can get funky, and we’ve consistently seen that in mixed race relationships, a dollop of white has the potential to wipe out 80%+ of any ethnic features in the progeny of said coupling
English

@caitlinyantis @deenayaah @october31365 @Cash_De_Vil Yeah uhh that’s not Michael Jackson’s real facial structure my guy lmfao 🤣

English

@Breliloquy @caraminez Bre, the way you formed your statement/argument 100% made it seem to EVERYONE ELSE that the issue was we’re asking too much of our students. We all understand the parents also can’t read, but they don’t have to be able to read for their child to soar in school.
English

@WhollyHanna @chlosiphus Tbh I get it, and I lowkey miss living downtown/next to the train line. But alas, I had a kid and we had the funds at the time to get a house in the suburbs. Blessing and a curse.
English

@caitlinyantis @chlosiphus Honestly the sound machine for me is the sound of the city... I go to my cabin up north and the quiet now drives me nuts!
English

@WhollyHanna @chlosiphus Yeah, that’s the biggest issue with downtown living 😭 but at least you’re close to everything! Anyway, the perfect middleground is a sound machine alarm clock like the hatch that does the sunrise alarm 💕 not harsh on the endocrine system (it quietly builds up the alarm)
English

@caitlinyantis @chlosiphus My condo is somewhere in that mess of light. Not to mention the sunlight rises at drastically different times... so these things are a godsend for me.

English

@WhollyHanna @chlosiphus I used to love blackout bedrooms, but ever since my husband and I just completely removed our bedroom blinds (to replace our windows and never put them back up) the sun naturally waking us up is so nice. However you can’t do this in the city. We’re in a community w/o many lights
English

@chlosiphus I don't know about you... but I have black out blinds in my room. It could be noon and I wouldn't know.
English

@deenayaah @october31365 @Cash_De_Vil This was before a lot of the surgeries and MAJOR skin bleaching he did, but tell me Paris doesn’t have the same facial structure as Michael.

English

@october31365 @Cash_De_Vil Aside from the skin colour No resemblance whatsoever ever, it's okay if they are adopted but I keep hearing about “biological children”
English

@Trav_Smith1 @SciFiArchives Yeah, there’s still a fair amount of weird buildings in the city, but most of them are becoming hidden gems or just getting torn down 😭
English

@SciFiArchives Guess I didn't realize Ohio had a 60's/70's dystopian architecture phase.
English

@BilboParmesan @evrythngmachne @madison_tayt @BoredomParadox Brigham Young was the biggest bigot of them all! He only said that because the US government was going to retaliate and completely wipe ‘the saints’ off the face of the earth before they even made it to Utah because of the mayhem they caused crossing the plains!
English

@evrythngmachne @madison_tayt @BoredomParadox There's no excuse for the displacement of indigenous peoples. The mountain meadows massacre, however, came after years of anti-mormon pogroms, rapes, and genocide. That doesn't make it okay tho, which is why brigham young told the group who did the massacre to leave them alone.
English

@Based_Morgoth @AmusedToDeath1 Only anecdotal evidence. Every single person I personally know buys sandwich loaves for daily use and will get “the good bread” for specific meals or preplanned events because we’re in a fucking recession
English

@AmusedToDeath1 No adults in my life prefer sandwich bread for anything, even most sandwiches. Maybe poor Americans, though even good loaves of artisan bread aren't expensive. PB&J is the only exception.
English

The thing everyone is missing in bread discourse is Americans just prefer the soft sliced sandwich loaf from the aisle regardless of the abundance of other bread
AmusedToDeath@AmusedToDeath1
I can walk to here in 8 minutes.
English

@i_am_non_a @prfctsweetie Imagine gatekeeping BREAD one of human civilization’s longest existing foods worldwide. Maybe if you’d take a break from guzzling your own spunk and calling it “posh-drink” or something stupid, you’d be able to just accept that possibly your just being a trite asshole
English

@prfctsweetie Imagine thinking the brown employees actually know how to bake bread at a grocery store bakery. Astonishing, really.
It's frozen goyslop, reheated. Yes, even at Central Market and Whole Foods.
The only bread worth buying is local or imported from Europe.
English

OI THE YANKS DONT GOT BREAD IN ‘ERE BAKERIES BRUV HARHARHAR NOT LOIKE US WE ‘AVE WILLY DILLY WIRLY DIRLY BREADDIEBYES IN OUR GROCIES
(central market, HEB, Walmart, & Whole Foods bakeries pictured because I fucking hate you)

Leo/Täubchen🐦@affairemayaling
these are in almost every supermarket chain here. this is what we mean when we say you don’t have bread in your grocery stores.
English

@stupit_question @rushicrypto I spent many years in the dumb dumb zone (and fear I may end up back there again if anything ever happens to my husband)
English

@rushicrypto If you are between the poverty pine and the cost of living you are in the dumb dumb zone, where there is no assistance and no wealth being built. Dont yell at me thats where im at
English

@reality1nsights @justalexoki …if anything today’s libs are known for being science forward parents who recently have higher vaccination rates and have known this info for over a year.
English

@justalexoki You think very liberal people have higher rates of nut allergies because of the excess sheltering? I wonder what else this applies to
English

@justalexoki We have clotheslines run across the entire laundry room in the basement in a z formation for things that can’t be put in the dryer or should drip dry for best results, but everything else goes in the dryer. It’s quicker, and we have too much pollen during good weather for outside
English

there's no way Americans don't do this. this is just a universal human experience
Juanjo Valiño@juanjovn
Peak europoor is having to dry our clothes like this in my living room

@samanthawillman Nah, it’s a common color in churches/temples (literally the sherwin Williams“lambs wool” white color is painted inside a lot of the dressing rooms in the temples around the world), &it’s seen as being a better Mormon than others if you can afford a house that looks like a church
English

🧵gather ‘round boys and let me girlsplain “griege” to you:
tl;dr none of this would have happened if Kanye West hadn’t found God.
public emmany #1 🦬@theemmacasey
Fascinated by Mormon influencers. All this money and yet they refuse to decorate anything. This woman lives in a mansion and chooses to have Amazon greige curtains and a greige microfiber comforter.
English

@jailedamanda I think HBO essentially used this same alphanumeric combo here that was used for the license plates in Tim Robinson’s Chair Company show (based in Ohio, so I’m familiar with the plates of the last 20+ years or so)
