@TL_Forbes @halletjulie Already wrote back to PARO, and pointed them to the @CMPAmembers FAQ on the issue. In the absence of appropriate PPE, refusal to work could theoretically be the basis for a college or hospital complaint which would (one hopes) quickly be struck down.

@halletjulie PARO is dead wrong on this. Those of us in leadership roles need to support our residents (and our colleagues). I know I will. No one should put themselves at increased risk with COVID or suspected COVID patients without appropriate PPE.

Ok. This is worrisome. So under ON occupation health and safety act if pt w COVID codes and there is no PPE available or it takes time to properly don PPE, the expectation is to provide care w/o protection or be disciplined & personally liable? /1
