The UK is one of the most nature depleted countries on 🌍 yet a 🧱is too much of a stretch for Labour to save our swifts. This symbolic 🎥 is for those who care that the existence of swifts is on the line.I hate campaigning but I’ll never give up on the birds. If you care, share🙏

🐧 15 Gentoo penguins are trapped underground right now in the basement of SEA LIFE London. Kept in artificial ice, bright lights, and the constant noise of tourists, all for profit. Freedom for Animals, with support from Born Free, Chris Packham, Dale Vince and Feargal Sharkey, is holding a protest outside SEA LIFE London on Sunday 19th October at 10.30am. Protect the Wild will be there. Will you stand with us for the penguins?

I wrote this yesterday in response to Zia Yusuf's lie that Farage was having to pay a million pounds for private security. Why has Nigel Farage not entered a single pound in declared interests since May? Today, I've gone through Nigel Farage's officially declared Register of Interests on the @UKParliament website. In the last three months, we are being led to believe that Nigel Farage has ceased all outside earnings and donations. Of course, this is not true. He is absolutely raking it in from multiple sources but, it seems, has just given up on reporting this income. At the very least, we should be seeing his GB News salary and his social media income, but nope, nothing. We know he travelled to Washington to appear at the House Judiciary Committee. Did he pay for that himself? Highly unlikely. Something very strange is happening here. An elected MP with some serious questions over his finances, is, it appears, trying to hoodwink UK voters. The Register is updated fortnightly, and MPs must register new additions or changes within 28 days of that occurrence. At the very least, Farage has missed two months worth of declarations. Averaging out the previous 10 months and if we're being kind to say it's only two months missing, that works out at £177,690.78 undeclared income. Not a paltry sum to have 'mislaid'. As a rule, an MP should be made to correct the register and make an apology if they are found to be in breach. Boris Johnson was a prime culprit for this and even had to attend remedial training as a punishment. Look at my spreadsheet below, and you can see that there are big bunches of declarations in April but then, aside from one GB News payment, everything stops. One image is a wide view of all of his interests, and the second is a closer look at where the payments halt. What is going on here @ElectoralCommUK? Why is this being allowed to run unchecked? Is there an investigation that we're not party to? Or is Farage really actually above the law? It's bizarre and has the very distinct whiff of … well, you can decide what I was going to write there — I don't want to get sued! As I wrote yesterday — Farage is not declaring his income. Please feel free to tag anyone you think may be interested below.

Farage is not declaring his income. Why has Farage not been declaring his private security on his Register of Interests? There is no declaration of a gift or donation of private security. The article says it costs £1 MILLION per year for this security, but nothing has been declared. MPs have 28 days in which to register any financial donations on their Parliamentary register, but Farage's last entry to the Register was actually back in May. So we're being led to believe that the man, who earns a million pounds a year from his outside work, just stopped earning in May? This stinks. His most recent declaration was on 31st May 2025 for £26,817.60 for 12 hours of work at GB News. That's £2,234.80 per hour, by the way. Man of the people, my behind! But the more pressing matter is, what happened to his earnings since May? Is this hubris? Is he trying to get caught out to launch another 'woe is me, everyone hates me' campaign? Diligent Lee Anderson has declarations coming in on the 8th of September, like a good boy. Farage has just halted his declarations. So what are we to take from this? Unclear. But what is clear-cut, is that somebody in Parliament/the media should have spotted this and be investigating. It's a potentially very serious breach of the Code of Conduct and could/should lead to a suspension. Also, I find it strange that @Telegraph had un-paywalled this article. I assume it has been paid for by Reform. telegraph.co.uk/gift/57099cf60…

My petition to the UK Government for full transparency on the impacts of 86 deregulated free zones across England, Scotland, and Wales has finally been approved. I urge people across the UK to sign and share this petition as widely as possible. This is hugely important for the future of your communities, your property rights, your land, your towns, your cities, your councils, your citizenship rights, your collective sovereignty, for rejoining the EU, and the use of your taxes to fund corporations like US Blackrock, who pay zero taxes in free zones for 10 years. The UK's 86 deregulated free zones are licensed for a quarter of a century, and are embedded with secondary legislation, meaning zero Parliamentary and public scrutiny. This is in your hands now. Petition: Transparency and Review of the free zones and ports impacts petition.parliament.uk/petitions/7294…

At this time of year, please take care when you're walking through fields and meadows and always keep to designated paths. Ground-nesting birds such as the red-listed Skylark in this photo are easily disturbed and their nests can be destroyed so please be careful @EssexBirdNews
