@joserosado Love it. Get started. Get your hands dirty. Fail. Make mistakes. And keep applying what you learn.

Online business is way more trial and error than most people admit. People who obsess over plans and branding are the ones still stuck at zero. The messy launches and awkward first sales are all part of the game.

@supermanuelsaez Our Thoughts keep us stuck. That’s a fact. Writing has been my way to surface what’s underneath. Awareness happens here. Yes, therapy helps too. Someone hearing you and process experiences of life also brings that awareness through someone else.

Without awareness, thinking is a handicap. Our thoughts often trap us, keeping us stuck in the same patterns. Sometimes, stepping back from overthinking allows us to move forward more freely and effectively. Think about it...

Well said! “It’s about how you respond when someone you love holds up a mirror.” Dang… that hit me. When people ask, “How did you get there?” they’re referring to the success, the public spaces that allow for attention and glory. When they hear the “boring” answer it’s hard to accept.

The Leadership Lesson I Learned Folding Laundry For a long time, I thought leadership happened on stages, in boardrooms, or with a title attached to it. Then I learned it can show up while folding laundry. I didn’t grow up knowing how to hold a baby, fold a fitted sheet, or carry the invisible weight that keeps a home running. And honestly, I didn’t think I needed to. Then I got married. Became a father. And reality set in. My wife didn’t just model a different standard—she urged me to grow up. She challenged me to become the kind of partner and parent our family deserved. Not through ultimatums. Through relentless clarity. She carried emotional labor with grace, took initiative without waiting for credit, and made it clear—verbally and through action—what kind of marriage she wasn’t willing to settle for. That’s when I learned: leadership isn’t just about how you show up in public. It’s about how you respond when someone you love holds up a mirror. It’s about folding the laundry, yes. But more than that, it’s about owning the fact that real leadership often begins at home, in moments no one sees, and no one celebrates. That’s what we’re cultivating inside HU-MAN. Not a space for bravado—but for men doing the real work of becoming whole. Quietly. Consistently. Together. If this resonates, my DMs are open. No pitch. Just real talk.

@levelsio Seems like this would be the case for cold brew as well. Doesn't seem to involve a paper filter.

This is why I drink V60 and not Espresso My dad, a cardiologist, told me this 2 decades ago V60, Aeropress and drip coffee's paper filters filter out diterpenes Unfiltered coffee like espresso do not and therefore raise your LDL cholestrol (bad cholestrol)
Dr. Rhonda Patrick@foundmyfitness

Coffee’s health impact depends on how you brew it. Filtered coffee is linked to a lower cancer risk, while unfiltered methods—like French press or boiled coffee—let oily compounds called diterpenes sneak into your cup. These compounds, particularly cafestol and kahweol, can raise LDL cholesterol by 10–30 mg/dL in just a few weeks. Long-term exposure to high levels of these diterpenes has been associated with a modest uptick in the risk for certain cancers, including pancreatic and respiratory tract cancers, as well as a higher risk of dementia (generally observed with very high levels of boiled coffee consumption in particular). What’s going on here? Diterpenes are fat-soluble, so they slip through metal filters or stay suspended in boiled brews. Filtered coffee contains undetectable levels of cholesterol-raising diterpenes. Polyphenols, on the other hand (like chlorogenic acids) are water-soluble antioxidants that pass through paper filters and deliver cellular benefits. If you’re drinking multiple cups per day, consider switching to filtered coffee. It preserves the antioxidants while minimizing cholesterol-raising compounds.

It cracks me up how every so-called guru declares funnels are dead, then turns around and sells the same thing with a new name: engine, flywheel, “growth loop,” whatever. And somehow, everyone suddenly gets hyped about it. Still a funnel. Still the same steps. It’s just new labels and graphics. Wild how easy it is to get people chasing something old, just dressed up in fresh words.

@neelhome You replace the many fears of what could go wrong with the experience of reality. Now, you're standing in the space of truth. That's the value of courage.

@ItsKieranDrew There's a reason why it's the path less chosen... the majority of the reps look the same. It loses its appeal after the 50th time. We like new. We want new. New makes you change gears. You lose momentum.

You don’t need large blocks of time to make progress. You need consistency. 30 to 45 minutes. Daily. The consistent drip of effort moves the needle. Momentum starts today.

I took a risk. I recorded a loom video analyzing a newsletter for a potential client. I sent that video via email. Waited. And received a response: “That was a good move. You showed value.” They implemented my suggestions. Now we’re working together. Lesson here: Don’t wait for permission. Show what you know.

Let me tell you about a scenario I experienced yesterday. I walked past a bookstore. And there, outside: • a table with a cloth (no message on it) • a stack of books • a small display • the author behind the table The author said hello when I greeted them. No pitch, no invitation. The hard truth is: Your work doesn't speak for itself. When you're putting yourself out there, the following things matter: • Give me a clear message: Why should I care? • Draw me in visually: You want my attention? Make me stop and look. • An engaged presence: You want me to consider your perspective? Invite me in. Gaining the attention of others takes work. You're going to need to earn it. If you don't tell your story, no one else will.

It just seems like it’s one, big marketing campaign for how it’s going to affect so many people. I would even say the countless stories and messaging are trying to hit our subconscious level. What for? To turn fear into paying for a subscription. Cha-Ching! And all these users are now constantly feeding it, providing data points so that they can provide more value and more features to subscribe to. I use it, but I’m not hearing conversations of fear about AI at work.

The nerds think every new technology will be a god and replace everyone’s jobs and make humans irrelevant. They always say the same nonsense. They’re wrong every time because the materialist worldview is wrong. A tool will never be alive and we will never be replaced. AI isn’t even that impressive. Ironically the main jobs it will replace would be marketing, lawyers, and all of Hollywood. Wizards liars and zombies are screwed. But living men even in those careers will just use AI as a tool to be better. Fact. It’s crazy how publicly wrong so many people are and I know they won’t even acknowledge it in ten years. It’s just like the Bitcoin bros who said: “Bitcoin can’t be tracked or seized” “Ok it can be tracked and seized but people will start using it as a currency” “Ok people still aren’t using it as a currency but it’s how we can get around banks and government” “Ok banks and government are now controlling it and subsidizing it with tax money but if you don’t get some you will be poor.”

“Posting on X doesn’t work for getting clients.” I hear this all the time. Usually from founders who’ve: → Posted twice and disappeared → Only shared generic advice → Never talked directly to their ideal client Here’s the truth: X doesn’t care how many followers you have. It just needs one thing: A clear reason for someone to stop, read, and trust you. You’re not tweeting to “go viral.” You’re tweeting to be remembered by the right people. And guess what? They’re here. They’re scrolling, and they’re looking for someone who gets it. Great content forces you to actually know your customer. And when you do, the platform works. Every time.

@jonbrosio I’m enjoying the less complexity phase right now. Interesting how that alone provides: - less chaos - less pressure - more energy - more focus

Everyone says, “add more value!” But real value is subtraction: • Less time • Less chaos • Less pressure • Less complexity The deeper your clarity The more you become the clear no-brainer for your customers.
