@IzunaDrop66 They’re not even playing the same game for real and it’s genuinely not fun to play a modern player.

For those using ranked matches to become better players, here's an example of MR points that may interest you. I have two CFN accounts, one focused on strictly training and another focused on winning. The training account is averaging 160 ranked points lower than my main account, sitting at 1850 MR compared to my 2000 MR average. The lesson I've taken from this is I will play worse when trying to implement new skills, and my MR doesn't reflect my skill level. If I didn't have a second CFN account to train I'd assume my current skill level is averaging 1850 MR when that's just simply wrong. My focus this phase was implementing medium slide in neutral, and I lost crucial rounds by limit testing it. So if you train new strategies in ranked, just know you are allowed to lose more as you work out the kinks. It may take a while until those new skills are fully implemented with the rest of your strategy. So focus on the big picture and don't give up!

Still trying to cope with the fact that the Suns didn’t spend a SINGLE SECOND as the 8 seed for an entire 82 game season but ended up losing the 7 spot cuz Adam silver decided it’d be cool to decide an entire season on a single 48 min game

This post is simply false and a weak attempt to push a misleading narrative from ACR associates. Bottom line: if you’re a high-stakes player (or any stakes for that matter), recreational or pro, you’ll be best taken care of @CoinPoker_OFF. @ZarKeoZ even spoke to the Coin team and had the VIP rewards model explained to him, but conveniently leaves that part out. @WPN_CEO, pretty weak jab from you and your team. I honestly thought you’d be above that but there we go. The match being referenced is vs another pro. In that case, both players receive ~90% back. Thats ~1,5bb/100 netrake (not 20bb) - might be worth mentioning next time. If it’s vs a recreational, the VIP gets a larger share to reduce loss rate and keep games running longer. This is reviewed weekly to ensure VIPs are properly supported. Together with the Highstakes community. Every high-stakes player also understands this. It’s the standard model across private and club games, where most of those games are running nowadays. There’s a reason public HS games rarely sustain themselves: VIPs get crushed too quickly. How long would you stick around as a recreational stick with a -25bb PROs win little slower. However they will stick around longer and games will stay alive. I have been a Pro my whole life, but also have to agree that keeping the VIPs happy is the most important part. @CoinPoker_OFF is really trying to build the best poker experience in the world & they have some of the sharpest minds working on this. If we want HS public games imo they are our only shot at this moment. GG shut them down entitely 2 years ago (for reasons above, making them private) & ACR is too focused on stop Coin instead of working on their own product.
FUUUAAARK@ZarKeoZ

Coinpoker is probably the first poker room where a reg sits out and leaves against a recreational player because of the rake being so high. The High-Stakes HU tables have become unbeatable or barely, and even their " special program " for regs battles is not competitive compared to what other sites offer. Coinpoker doesn't have the lowest effective rake in the industry as they claim, and in reality have one of the highest.

For years, Tor network (@torproject) has been stuck at ~8,000 relays (~3,000 exit), with little growth despite the increasing demand for #privacy. Meanwhile, ANyONe Protocol (@AnyoneFDN) just crossed 7,000+ active relays (4,000+ exit) in a matter of ~3 years… and is still growing. So, why the difference? ▪ Scalability: ANyONe is built for the future. Designed to scale far beyond a niche tool into a true large-scale privacy network. ▪ Incentives: Unlike Tor, ANyONe actually rewards people for running relays, creating a ecosystem that keeps attracting new participants. Tor’s volunteer model is secure, but harder to grow. ▪ Decentralization + flexibility: ANyONe’s architecture eliminates Tor's bottlenecks with true decentralization that enables faster, more efficient routing. ▪ Usability: ANyONe focuses heavily on usability and VPN-like experiences, whereas Tor is primarily used for browsing and dark web scenarios. It also offers a proprietary hardware relay, which is the easiest way to contribute to the network while protecting your home network. ▪ Community: ANyONe has fostered a highly engaged community of users and developers who actively contribute to its rapid expansion (browser extensions, messenger apps, custom hardware devices, and more to come). Tor laid the foundation for onion routing. ANyONe Protocol is taking it mainstream. The future of privacy is decentralized. anyone.io $ANYONE #DePIN #ETH #VPN #crypto

LeBron James was asked if he sees any similarity’s between he and Cooper Flagg’s introduction to the league; being the face of a franchise as a teenager. “I love what he’s doing. I love what he’s bringing to this franchise. He looks like he loves the game. He’s putting in the work. J-Kidd got a little scrutinized early on because they started him at PG at times. I thought that was unfair. I think it’s great to put the ball in somebody’s hands so they can just go through the rough patches; when you go through the rough patches it allows you to grow at a rate faster than other players. That’s what Paul Silas, rest his soul, did for me. My rookie year, I basically stared at PG early on. He allowed me to mistakes and read tough defenses … so, I see similarities in that on the basketball floor. Off the court, it’s a little different.

@rtphill02 @JonnyRoot_ @willdawsonTV You just proved my point. You care zero about the audience, time or place where you spout religious garbage. Instead, you expect others to just listen even when theyre not interested just BC youre "free to express your religion". Go ahead then. Just stop asking why ppl are mad.

What were mad at is your insufferable need to tell the world at every moment, even when it's the least appropriate. Even hearing "were not interested" and still preaching. Foh

Does literally anybody else do that shit while playing professionally? It's funny for a moment but it's also lowkey disrespectful to the person you're going up against. Nothing about this game warrants all that. Imagine Knee or Arslan doing that. I know I'm gonna get roasted for this take because he's been doing that for years but every time I see that I'm like damn not cool.

Poker has no future other than private games. These bot rings and unethical behavior online make it extremely unpleasant for most to play the game. And operators really don’t police it. In the live arena these grinder dorks ruin the experience for any recreational that wants to enjoy the game. And then there’s all the cheating (at private games and casino ones) that has recently been exposed that make every game feel untrustworthy. I am going to make poker fun again through nosebleed private cash games with some of the most successful and accomplished businessmen, investors and entrepreneurs, all gathered around the table talking shop. @PokerGO has been a big ally in that regard and I plan on working with the @HCLPokerShow team as well to bring recreational players into the game. I have even been approached by the ownership of @WPT to collab on a reality TV/docuseries type thing similar to Drive to Survive to attract more recs to the game. The media needs to focus on how poker is a game that brings together many skills critical in life - bankroll management, cost benefit analysis, probabilistic thinking, emotional IQ, etc. But the upside isn’t the EV made playing a hand. It’s the soft skills developed playing the game and the relationships made on and off the felt. Everyone in my network will only play poker with friends or friends of friends (ie has to be vouched for). I think that is increasingly becoming the future of the game. There are so many “coaches” and old poker pros turned influencers who are trying to convince you that the money is made playing a hand a certain way but the EVs run so slim that when you add in rake + variance, very few people can make a living playing poker. Even the guys shilling you instructional videos and trying to get you to watch their content are barely afloat. Being a short term EV hunter or chiseler doesn’t get you shit in life. Ask any of these pros making GTO videos if they get invited to the high stakes private games. They don’t. So they spend 80 hours a week honing their craft to battle against other top pros honing their craft and having to somehow have enough edge against them + overcome rake + have enough of a bankroll to survive the variance. They rely on selling you the false dream of making a living playing a game that they themselves can’t make a living playing (why do you think they are always wearing patches and hunting for sponsorship deals). Be smart. Have fun playing poker. Enjoy the media of it (it’s entertaining for sure). And then go get a real job so you can enjoy the game for what it was designed to be- a hobby. Btw even people who can play the game profitably likely have made more money in outside business ventures is my guess.
