This is the LIV Beach pool area at Fontainebleau Hotel in Las Vegas
Look how many people are packed into this pool and day club area
If you didn’t know what you were looking at you might think this was a Petri dish
I looked up the capacity and this area can have 2,000 people. I put the photo into AI and it says there are way more than 2,000 people in this area
This isn’t just gross it’s dangerous
- People likely wouldn’t notice someone drowning
- Everyone would stampede in an emergency
- It’s wet people could slip and get trampled
- Most importantly, again it’s gross

@John_Mehaffey It was not a separate room. The former Brian Christopher room at Plaza gets a good amount of action despite being off the beaten path, at least based on the live stream. There are fewer gaps of no one playing and the stream just showing someone pressing buttons on a slot.

I think it's important for us as a society to learn the rules of all financial accounts There is no rule stating that you cannot access your 401K money for decades It is suggested, so that you actually have something in the account at older age; but it's not a hard rule

On @Kalshi someone is pumping Spencer Pratt. That is absolutely absurd that Spencer Pratt has a higher chance of winning than Karen Bass. Short of Bass pulling a Swalwell, Karen Bass will easily beat any Trump aligned candidate in Los Angeles.

If you work as a tax preparer the issue with Uber/Lyft becomes pretty obvious.
At IRS mileage rates, drivers hardly take home anything. We have to train for how to handle *negative* adjusted incomes because of them!

Judging by the comments, Uber & Lyft are effectively high yield payday loan companies as drivers are aware of the high depreciation rates of their driving but still drive because they need cash today

Interesting fact: every new McD is mandated to be open 24 hours. It’s a huge push within the system. Surge picked up in 2023, I talked abt it in 2024 & saw even more momentum in 2025.
Even our competitors (Wendy’s and Taco Bell) have shifted hours, often closing breakfast and extending late night hours.
Opening late night is not easy - it’s the toughest hours to operate from staffing to supervision to operations.

@CTVBlair @McFranchisee I’ve seen most Jack in the Boxes in my area close from 3:30-4 am. to give the workers their mandated lunch break. Same with Del Taco. Somewhat annoying if you want an early flight.
