@guineas4lifenew A Baigie!
On New Years Day, locals from the hills of deepest darkest North Northumberland gather in a pub to weigh their biggest Baigie and compete for the “Baigie Bowl”! Winner this year was 24lbs, I believe the all time record stands at 36lbs
Northumberland people - I need suggestions for good beers for our wedding next year (this is my one and only job), going to try Rigg & Furrow but keen to try any other local ones as well.
@sarajcox@BBCRadio2 As a (very forgetful) kid if I said to my dad “but I thought I had…” he’d say:
“Well you know what thought did?
Wet his bed and thought he was sweating!”
Still cracks me up when someone’s says “but I thought that…” 😂
One of my mum’s (many) lil’ sayings is “put your leg in bed” when offering to like arms (I say it to my kids now) Pls share a favourite saying in your fam, one you’ve continued that reminds you of a special person & any extra detail cos you knows I love a detail 🧡5pm @BBCRadio2
The Baigie Barrow may only come out for a few weeks a year but she still needs to comply. New PTO guard fitted as part of pre-season service.

@loweroddfarm I would like you to see you take this bus above 20mph, let alone average that sort of speed!!! Bear in mind it has been on limited use since 3yr old and 30K miles. 3rd gear is its comfort zone
@cambo125 Not quite sure the 12k hours is correct. The formula was (I stand the be corrected) divide the miles by 40 (mph), which was at one time the average speed. Mind you at one time it was 2mph, probably that now in certain cities.
FRIDAY CHALLENGE….can anybody show me a 30+ year old JD Gator (or similar) with 210K miles or 12,000Hours, that travels as well and is as cheap to run as this honey 🍯 #landrover#defender
