@LuftkoppTim Wrong, the DMA says the user needs to be able to choose which ai assistant they want to use and companies need to make sure that is possible. The point is that the user must be able to choose. So you can just choose not to use a different assistant and not to share your data.

Apple: We designed a competing system that works privately and securely because that's what our users want EU: Redesign it. And give free access to everyone's data. We decide. That's quite literally the current situation and you somehow still think the EU is the good guy here. The EU blames others to be monopolistic while in reality and with an objective view it's actually the EU doing that. They don't allow fair competition. They want to decide what companies have to do and what not.

No American multinational can blackmail 450 million consumers by saying: change your rules, or we keep innovation away. A carmaker would not refuse to export cars because Europe requires a speedometer. The same principle applies here. The DMA defends fair competition, consumer choice and digital sovereignty. In Europe, Big Tech does not write the law.
