Winning 8 straight games in the playoffs is impressive no matter who you are playing. But that side of the East bracket was as much a pillow fight as the Pacific. Carolina gonna face their first quality opponent in the ECF.

It’s weird how little attention Carolina is getting for this run. Maybe because the Metro wasn’t that good this year. But 7-0 in the playoffs is still 7-0. Really impressive.
Having said that, I still think the winner of Montreal-Buffalo can give them a real test.

I don’t normally pay attention to the commentary by the network in between periods with the Carolina Hurricanes. But I think TNT has been great. My perception is they want Philadelphia to win which is probably better for financials, TV revenue, etc. but they’re not unfair at all in how they cover the Carolina Hurricanes. I think Henry Lundquist is fantastic in his analysis.
