Every time I try, the more I realize I don’t fit in with the Stacks crowd. Good luck with everything. I just can’t brown nose every project they way you have to in order to fit in there.

There’s a really stupid place where progressive antipathy towards “the rich” and libertarian antipathy towards “the bailouts” intersects. That really stupid place is when you start treating all the money in small banks as "obviously unsafe, bro". And the operative term is SMALL. Because the too-big-to-fail banks are considered to have more than the FDIC deposit limits. So all deposits go to them. And thus the progressives end up concentrating all the wealth in big banks. And the libertarians end up centralizing all the control with big banks.
