Today is my last day at Stacks Labs.
After more than 3 years working in @Stacks at Trust Machines (Leather + Granite) and Stacks Labs, I found out this morning that my position, along with 14 others, is being impacted.
Here's what's not changing:
1. My connection with all the community members that I have crossed paths with. I've made so many friends in the Bitcoin, Ordinals, and Stacks communities over the years.
People say it all the time, but the community in Stacks is absolute top tier. Everyone is mission-driven and truly aligns with Bitcoin's principles. I hope they never lose that and never stop advocating for what's right. It's been a privilege to represent the Stacks community in my role.
2. My focus on Bitcoin. In my 5+ years working in crypto, every position I've held has been a stepping stone toward a role that aligns closer with Bitcoin's fundamentals. I'm looking forward to continuing that trajectory in my next role. If you have a connection, my DMs are open.
3. Good For Bitcoin will continue. I'm excited to continue co-hosting the show alongside Kate. GFB has been a fantastic way for the both of us to keep a pulse on what's going on in the industry. Tomorrow's show will be a good one.

Been so much fun cooking OpenShell and NemoClaw with the @NVIDIAAI folks! 🙏🦞
Huge step towards secure agents you can trust.
What’s your OpenClaw strategy?

Prepare your kids for a future where there is labour demand.
₿rett@brettmacro
Anthropic just dropped labor market data on AI displacement. 🟦 = What AI is already capable of. 🟥 = The capacity at which people are using it. The "Great Recession for white collar workers" scenario they modeled? Unemployment doubling from 3% to 6% in the most exposed jobs. Not happening yet. But the early signal is there. Hiring of 22 to 25 year olds into AI-exposed roles is already down 14%. Computer Programmers. Customer Service. Financial Analysts. 67 to 75% of their tasks are already covered. AI is only at 33% of its theoretical capability. We are in the early innings.

I am reporting an unauthorized withdrawal of approximately 30,000 USDC from my Ledger-secured wallet.
The wallet was protected by a @Ledger hardware device. The recovery phrase (private keys) has never been shared, digitized, photographed, typed, or exposed to any third party. The Ledger device itself is used exclusively on a dedicated MacBook (Apple M4), which was purchased fresh and is used only for Ledger transactions. This laptop is not used for browsing, downloads, third-party wallet connections, or any other activity unrelated to Ledger.
The @Ledger device is not used on any other computer. It has not been connected to any unknown software, websites, or external wallet interfaces. I have not opened or used the Ledger wallet for several weeks prior to discovering the incident. I did not initiate, confirm, or sign any transaction authorizing this withdrawal.
Upon reviewing the blockchain transaction history, I discovered that approximately 30,000 USDC was transferred out of my wallet without my knowledge or authorization. The funds were subsequently sent to Bitget.
I am 100% certain that:
The recovery phrase has never been exposed.
No transaction was manually confirmed by me.
No third party has had physical access to the Ledger device.
The dedicated MacBook has not been used for any other crypto-related activity outside Ledger.
This withdrawal was not authorized by me in any form, and I require a full explanation as to how such a transaction could have been executed under these conditions. HELP

Do EVERYTHING in your power to find your passion as quickly as possible
Over the past month I've averaged 4 hours of sleep a night, missed multiple meals a day, haven't gone on a single walk, and have barely worked out
I've never been happier in my life.
I found OpenClaw and local AI. I found my passions. I found what I want to go all in on. And I'm going all in
I wake up 100 times a night hoping the clock says 6am so I can get out of bed and work
The moment the alarm goes off I'm literally running to my computer
I get PISSED when the clock says 9pm and I need to get into bed
DO NOT settle until you reach this point. I cannot believe I made it 35 years on this planet without being this dedicated to anything
The last 35 years my life has been in black and white. Now it's in color
I am finally alive
Do not settle until you find your passion. You have no idea how vibrant and beautiful life is until you wake up in the morning dedicated to one singular cause
Hunt, experiment, tinker, and fail until you've found the 1 thing that keeps you up thinking 24/7/365
It's what makes life worth living

@BorisVagner And yet you can never quite think of what to build… right?

@peer_rich @OSSCapital @umbrel Any concerns with it being on your local network? How do you lock down access to network devices?

openclaw on @umbrel is such a nice 0-config experience
sandboxed by default, local only
so cool

there is a massive gap between front-end and back-end development with agentic coding.
backend developers get to plan and set off full agent teams to run continuously for days on end with no human input. the ai verifies success on its own.
and i'm jealous of that.
front end development requires really tedious feedback loops between small changes, visual reviews, and prompts for iterative feedback. there still isn't an objective criteria for verified success for design. or at least not one that the agent works well with.
i can't think of a single front end task that you can set off on an autonomous loop.
someone please prove me wrong. i'm hoping this is a skill issue.
