I’d agree … When I was drafted , they told me I’d be playing safety at first, but when I arrived I was thrown into the LB room as a ILB (a position I had never played in my career before) so it felt like I had to relearn the game of football and made me kinda doubt my own ability as a player at times. Coming from USC and having a revolving door of systems & HC’s didn’t help me develop as either a safety or a LB. I played 3-4 different positions at USC (and just happed to be good at em) but never really mastered one. By the time the league came, it felt like Washington was just spitballing what they’d want from me on a week to week basis. One week I’m a true ILB trying to get off double teams at 220 pounds and the next I’m playing basically playing safety and guarding WR’s, TE’s, and slots depending on the formation. I believe if it’s why I ended up dealing with so many injuries in my short NFL career. On top of the fact I ALMOST WENT BLIND from a concussion trying to play aggressive while being undersized. I never had issues with Jay in Washington. I liked him as a HC and trusted em enough to actually cry in his office in private like a baby, when I told em “Something doesn’t feel right with my eye !! I don’t feel the same , something’s off!!” After my concussion before the 2017 season. I have a ton of regrets when it comes to my football career. My biggest is not staying at USC for my senior year, learning how to really play ILB, and avoiding getting drafted by Washington all together. But I’m grateful for the opportunity and hope none of these kids in the future go through the same injuries I set through. And I am in no way offended by Jay’s words. He and I have always kept it 100% whether he liked or not and vice versa . It’s a mutual respect on a situation that didn’t work out in the end 🙏🏽 💯 #HTTR #FightOn

Former Redskins HC Jay Gruden says he didn’t want to draft S Su’a Cravens: “Su’a Cravens was one, we had a lot of different opinions on. I didn’t want the guy at all, you know, just because he didn’t fit. He wasn’t a safety, he played outside LB. We didn’t, you know, he’s too little, not because he wasn’t a good kid or a good player, just there’s nowhere to put him.”

@MichaelARothman Yes to tuition. As for the real price of pharmaceuticals they have not been rising beyond inflation. Patients are often paying more because their insurance is paying less, not because drugs are more expensive.

𝗝𝗢𝗡 𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗧 𝗝𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗦𝗔𝗜𝗗 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗦 𝗛𝗔𝗩𝗘 𝗕𝗘𝗘𝗡 𝗦𝗔𝗬𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝟮𝟬 𝗬𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗦 Give credit where it's due. Jon Stewart — not a conservative — said something more economically honest to Bernie Sanders' face than most Democrats have managed in a decade. His exact words: 𝘞𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘨𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘦𝘴 𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘧𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘳 𝘱𝘳𝘪𝘷𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘺 𝘤𝘰𝘴𝘵 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘭𝘴, 𝘱𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘦𝘴 𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘦 𝘧𝘢𝘳 𝘣𝘦𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘪𝘯𝘧𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯. 𝘞𝘦'𝘷𝘦 𝘴𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘪𝘵 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘶𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘸𝘦'𝘷𝘦 𝘴𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘪𝘵 𝘪𝘯 𝘱𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘮𝘢𝘤𝘦𝘶𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘢𝗹𝘴, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘸𝘦'𝘷𝘦 𝘴𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘪𝘵 𝘪𝘯 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘵𝘩 𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘦. He even noted that Trump seems to understand this — that the Democratic model has never been to directly provide anything. It has always been a subsidy to a middleman. Subsidize the insurance company. Subsidize the university. Subsidize the hospital system. Then express outrage when the insurance company, the university, and the hospital use that guaranteed government money to raise prices without limit. This is not a new observation. It is the core conservative critique of government intervention in markets — going back decades. When you remove price signals by guaranteeing payment, producers have no incentive to compete on cost. College tuition has risen over 1,400% since 1980 — the same period during which federal student loan money flooded the system. Healthcare costs have done the same since Medicare and Medicaid expanded coverage without controlling what providers could charge. Stewart asked Bernie the right question: will Democrats recognize the poison pill they've placed inside their own well-intentioned policies? Bernie's response was to repeat the slogan. Healthcare should be a human right. Education should be a human right. Right, right, right — says Stewart. But how do we actually get there without making everything more expensive? Bernie's answer: let's get there. That is not an answer. That is a bumper sticker. Stewart deserves credit for pressing it. The Democratic Party has spent 60 years creating the very cost crises they now propose to solve with more of the same medicine. 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗴𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘆 + 𝗻𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹𝘀 = 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀. We love ripping the people who make all this amazing entertainment we devour. Brilliant writers, actors, filmmakers. But if they dare to observe the world around them, they’re dismissed, part of the of the “Hollywood left” bubble. Guess what? You live in a bubble, too. We all do.
Ian Miller@ianmSC

Edward Norton is the absolute perfect example of the bubble that Hollywood and the left live in. It doesn’t matter that he has no idea what he’s talking about, he’s surrounded by people and information that confirm whatever he thinks

The Waddle trade should have a significant impact on the A.J. Brown market, so that allows me to tweet about Brown: Jaylen Waddle: 27 YO (Turns 28 in November) A.J. Brown: 28 YO (Turns 29 in June) Waddle's cap hit in '26/'27 (potential out in '28): ~$32M Brown's cap hit in '26/'27 (potential out in '27): ~$46M Waddle's '25: 64 rcps 910 yards 6 TDs Brown's '25: 78 rcps 1,003 yards 7 TDs Waddle's last 3 years: 6 games missed Browns' last 3 years: 6 games missed Brown is older. Brown has caused more drama. Brown's health situation is more serious with the reported knee(s) issue. And, Brown's market is likely not as hot as Waddle's. Denver sitting at #30 REALLY makes this pretty easy... I'd think the Pats sending #31 & one of their 4th-Rd picks would get it done.

@RossTuckerNFL @AdamSchefter The broncos were reportedly interested in Aj brown and they obviously liked the price for waddle over the price for Aj brown so brown isn’t worth a 1st and a 3rd clearly if they just paid that for waddle over brown

Broncos are trading for Miami WR Jaylen Waddle, per source. Denver receives: Waddle and Dolphins’ 4th-round pick (11th in round) in this year’s draft. Miami receives: Broncos’ 1st round pick (30th overall) along with their late 3rd and 4th round picks (30th in each round) in this year’s draft.

Genuine question on a restaurant situation: You walk up to a counter to order. You find your own table and seat yourself. If you order coffee, they hand you a cup and you go fill it up yourself. If you order food, they hand you a buzzer and when it goes off, you go pick it up yourself. The iPad has a “20%, 25%, 30%, Other” tip option, with 20% already preselected. What’s your move?
