The attack took place at an adult education school in Örebro that caters to immigrants. He shot approximately 20 people, killing 10, before committing suicide. Video footage from the incident at Risbergska adult education center captures someone shouting, "Get out of Europe," moments before Andersson began firing. This video was recorded by student Hashem Shams, who was hiding in a bathroom during the attack. Risbergska is noted for providing Swedish language courses among other programs for migrants.
