Disappointing to see funding cut from Invictus Australia at a time when we are still losing so many veterans to suicide. Invictus does great work supporting veterans and their families and creating connection through sport and connection. It's doing precisely the job we need it to do - I've seen that first hand. And it was only last month that Minister Keogh stood with Invictus and the Duke of Sussex to talk about how important this organisation is. Now it's been cut. Heartbreaking to read Kyle Hudson’s story. The @AustralianArmy Combat Training Centre Jungle Training Wing conducted jungle survival training in 📍 Oyster Bay, Philippines, as part of Exercise Balikatan. Personnel from Australia, New Zealand, the Philippines and the United States rotated through the training, developing essential jungle survival skills such as sourcing potable water and conducting live-fire serials. Firefighters from the #RFS and FRNSW remain on scene at a multi-vehicle accident near Bowman Rd, Londonderry. The incident involved a truck carrying a large quantity of LPG, which ignited & spread to nearby grass. Thankfully both the truck and grass fire have been extinguished.
