No team-playing Republican was saying this about Diego Morales a week ago. I’d be interested in hearing exactly when and how Morales crossed the line from suitable to unsuitable and how that standard might apply to other candidates and office-holders.

Boy, watching the @indgop turn on @cdiegomorales is assuming tonight. And what about @SheltonForIN... Guy's been running for a while. Today has been very revealing that Rob doesn’t want things to get better, he just wants to complain about things.
The party is moving from Diego… and he’s throwing a hissy fit about it. After saying forever that… the party should move on from Diego.

I like Diego and think he’s a good guy. That being said, it’s clear it’s time for him to do the right thing and step aside for the good of the party. Max Engling is the clear choice to decisively beat Bayh in the fall

By the way, it’s worth noting yet again that the entire reason Cornyn is bleeding out right now in front of all of Texas is 100000000 percent entirely because of the behavior of @Alex_Latcham_ the executive director of the Senate Leadership Fund. If he was not a total jerk on election night things probably would have gone smoother for Cornyn. So to every GOP senator who is reading this and I know many are: Do not get in bed with dogs like that otherwise you will come up with fleas. To Alex, who I know is reading every word since his grievous mistake earlier this week: Son, when this is all over no matter how it ends I’ll be the gracious one and buy you a beer and explain what you did wrong. Maybe you’ll learn a thing or two.
