I can tell you exactly why Amy doesn't give a crap about her constituents. Because if she actually represented us and voted for the SAVE Act, she'd lose her bid for Governor of MN. Straight up.

Anyone telling you Amy Klobuchar is a done deal is lying. Ever since she ran for President, her popularity has dropped significantly here in Minnesota. Her fraud prevention rollout wasn’t well-received on Facebook. Just look at that ratio.

I was born in 1959. My dad had me declared, because my mother's country had recently changed their citizenship law to state that mothers could determine a child's nationality. It was previously fathers only. Until the late 80s - it was understood (because we had civics in school) that just being born here did not give you citizenship. Oh, we also (and I don't) could NOT hold dual citizenship (you can't serve two masters and all that). Put those two things, plus a description of the 3 types of citizenship (natural born, natural, naturalized) - and you've got my support. I think it's sad we have to do this - when the 14th is pretty clear.

I am introducing a Constitutional Amendment to end Birthright Citizenship.
Under current interpretations of American law, anyone born on American soil automatically becomes a U.S. citizen, regardless of whether the parent was here legally or not. This is wrong and not at all the intent of those who wrote the 14th Amendment.
We are a country filled with immigrants, and legal immigration is valuable and should be protected. But we are also a country whose borders have been too open and our generosity exploited too often. President Trump has moved to seal our border from illegal immigrants more than any other president.
But we will have more to do.
We need to make sure that only children born to legal residents of the U.S. are automatically citizens. I have supported protecting birthright citizenship from abuse since the beginning of my tenure in the Senate, when I cosponsored the Birthright Citizenship Act of 2011, and now I am proposing an amendment to protect United States citizenship in case the Supreme Court fails to address this issue correctly.

Absolutely our voices were silent. Our REAL flag was chosen AFTER a great deal of public input, and actual voting by THE PEOPLE. This ugly as sin flag was picked by a handful of people, and shoved thru while claiming people like me were racists. It was despicable. And the flag DOES represent a foreign country. Look it up.

I think legislators think we're stupid. Take the Census tracts and draw the lines. By population, period. Minnesota isn't bad, compared to some states - but it absolutely could improve if they just stuck to the basics instead of inserting race, religion, politics, etc. Just count out the tracts and draw the lines. It's that simple.

Such a key point. I'm a black Republican who represents a 90% white district.
Drawing maps based on race is not about representation. It's about the opposite. It's about ensuring that certain populations AREN'T represented proportionately. It's about power. It's suppression.

The idea that black Americans need special districts carved out just for them is complete nonsense. It's a violation of the law and blatantly unconstitutional. Roseanne s/n/h/b fired. She has a right to an opinion. Period. Neither should Kimmel. Can't stand Kimmel, but he has a right to speak, so long as he's not threatening anyone. What I DO have a problem with, is people in authority who have no principles. And, that would be ABC. If ABC had principles, Kimmel would've been fired LAST TIME he did this. Absolutely he should be gone now. Since he's not - it's clear this network is prejudicial on how they apply the rules at their network. And, THAT I don't want any part of.

@WalterHudson I think the ONLY just way to draw district lines is by grid, using the census tracts. By P.O.P.U.L.A.T.I.O.N. Not race, not religion, no political affiliation, no economics. Just straight up draw boundaries that make sense. Anything else is someone trying to cheat.

Nothing infuriates an uninformed Congressional Dem more than when they realize they voluntarily triggered a debate with someone who actually knows what they are talking about, reads federal statute and adheres to Supreme Court precedent. Today’s self-implosion by @rosadelauro was quite remarkable to witness. Without apology or regret, I will always adhere to the best available reading of federal statute pursuant to the U.S. Supreme Court decision in Loper Bright.

I have lived through three Democrat Presidencies.
Thats a total of 20 years of Democrat administrations.
I watched them systematically wreck the country. I hated it.
Yet, not once did I ever consider violence. Not even in my darkest thoughts. Nor did any of my fellow Republicans.
But every month a Democrat tries to kill Trump. Then libs celebrate it and try again. They murdered Charlie and laughed about it. The current Attorney General of Virginia fantasizes about killing Republican children. His predecessor just killed himself and his wife in front of his children.
Ya, we are not the same.

Stop acting like this is news, Tom. You know damn well that we've known about her fraud since day 1. I've lived in CD5 for 30 yrs. We've known about her for almost 20. She lied about who she was to get in. She lied about her age & then lied about naturalizing under her "dad". She committed tax fraud & campaign fraud. She committed bigotry. She is heavily involved in the ballot harvesting in our district. She takes payoffs from Somalis getting state $$. ALL of this has been investigated & reported. Oh, and yeah, she married her brother to get him in. Shut up and do something. She needs to be charged, tried, and booted out permanently. If the DOJ won't do it, the FBI won't do it - how many more frauds does she need to commit before this gets handled? SMH.

We have a congressman who gained entry to our country illegally, then once here committed multiple frauds. It's documented. It's not like it's gossip. SHE DID THIS. We've known (cd5) FOR TWO DECADES that she was a criminal. So - what's your problem? What is preventing the House from doing their job? And, What's preventing the @FBIDirectorKash from doing THEIR job and removing her? If this were the real world, I'd probably fire ALL of you.
