@phdocnz “Your health is in your hands”. I take this a completely different way than what they meant. To me it means you’re on your own. We have washed our hands clean of doing public health and standing up and doing what is right.

I’ve recently survived two flights without being infected thanks to @flomask 🙏 (I also observed an air vent adjacent to the departure lounge, blowing high co2 values into the corridor area. Probably recycled air from the lounge blowing straight out into the corridor🤢)

@CP24 People should know ways to protect themselves&family. Wearing well fitted respirators, air quality with good ventilation/filtration &staying home when sick. If people don’t want to get sick they should be given all the information.

My husband and I mask everywhere indoors, even seven years in. Glad I've never cared about opinions of others!

Making them have to be alert to put their mask on when you approach, making them rely on one way masking making them responsible for all of it.. Shame

@BirdieBittern My 5 year old nephew was treated for a very, very rare form of non-Hodgkins and I was the sole person who masked at the children's hospital. Almost nothing amazes me anymore...sigh.

@cocomarvgrows Update—-Nope was wrong again, whole class going. Just waiting for money for bus. Checking out the nursing homes facebook, they have groups going in all the time. Silly me. Maybe they will say stay home if sick, but what is the chances of that. My bet 0. Oh well.

They don’t understand the fundamentals of Covid infection fallout or of viral transmission or that, right now we should be wearing respirators in daily life… they are nowhere. They are in the grub stage of viral illness info. You can’t talk to them.

the relief convoy to Cuba was planned and announced with ample time for concerns to be raised and critique to be given. it’s kinda weird to now start up with “OMG you guys can bring DISEASES!!!” when comrades are already there, or on the way. hateration is not principled.

@cocomarvgrows I am curious if people wore a baggy blue/cloth one over top of it would they get - reactions. Like if you look less serious about masking like you just through something on does that seem less intimidating. I will not know because I dont want to do that but I’m curious haha
